However you want to refer to sexy times, there were quite a few of them in this book, and boy were they steamy! The two main characters were Haley and Cade. Haley moves in with her older brother and his best friend Cade who live in a College town, though the guys graduated years ago. Haley is transferring to the nearby college to finish her degree. The brother, Tucker knows Cade can’t keep a woman for more than a few days and treats girls like crap. So Tucker makes Cade Promise to not mess with his sister.
Of course Cade is attracted to Haley from the get go, but fights it and Haley starts dating another guy right away, but as you can probably guess, something happens between Haley and the boyfriend and Cade displays his jealousy and they eventually end up together. I will try not to give away any spoilers but want to let you know how I felt about the plot. So here goes. The brother is not home a lot, then he goes away on business for a while so they have a lot of time together to become friends and are very passionate.
I like the fact that it is not insta-love and they do fall deeply which I can see, and it can happen pretty quickly for any two people that are together that much in your early twenties and sleeping together and there is a lot of passion. Though as the story progresses there seems to be one too many things that end up getting in their way.
I mean I can see the brother because that was coming from the beginning, then just when you think they might get back together they don’t and then again just when you think they might work it out, something else comes up. And then I won’t spoil here but even more happens and I think it should have just been workable from that point somehow. Because I didn’t like part of the ending.
That said, I really did like the romance between Haley and Cade and I was even crying at one point. The book held my interest throughout so I give it a 3.8 stars (rounded up to 4). For true love.

I really liked this audiobook. The dual narration by Troy Duran and Devon Grace was top notch. I enjoy both their voices quite a biGood FBI storyline!
I really liked this audiobook. The dual narration by Troy Duran and Devon Grace was top notch. I enjoy both their voices quite a bit and they matched the two main characters, Nick and Meadow perfectly. This book had a lot of action and romance. Nick was a fairly new FBI agent who got a job with the BAU (like on Criminal Minds). His first case was a series of murders where once beautiful women were stabbed once in the stomach and many times in the face. The serial killer stopped for years and then started up again, and Nick found that Meadows, a woman he recognized from the local coffee shop, was the first victim of the killer and she had survived.
I really liked the storyline about the murders and the fact that Meadows didn’t remember much about her attack. Though I wish Meadow would have been a stronger character. She basically lived in fear after her attack and hid herself away because of the scar on her face. Though it seemed to me that the scar wasn’t that bad. It went from her ear, down along her jawline, so it definitely could have been much worse.
Overall, I really liked this book, though it was definitely more story than steamy, more romantic than most that I read. There were no explicit sex scenes, which was fine by me, as I wasn’t in the mood for that kind of book....more
