This was an utter delight!
I loved reading Brynn's adventures in New York, and how it was her dream to do the tasks her mum set her there. The friendships she made were my favourite parts of this book. The romances were cute, and one in particular was swoon worthy. I was so happy with the ending of the book, too. It was just beautifully done....more

If you're reading this, and you've tagged/shelved this as lesbian, please retag it as bisexual. Stop the bisexual erasure.
This one was chaotic in a fun sense. I adored the magical aspects, and Rory was a wonderful love interest.
(view spoiler)[However, this was a weirdly convoluted and a bit exhausting miscommunication trope. At first it was easy. But this was a 12 hour audiobook (thank you Jeremy Parker Carlisle for the amazing narration) and it didn't need to be so long for that much miscommunication.
The plot itself was pretty great, but it relied heavily on that miscommunication which essentially made it weak to me. Which is sad, because it was fun otherwise. I would've loved more depth to Rory's powers, and why she thought so little of herself, but Morgan thought so massively of her. I also half expected Morgan to be controlling all of those weather phenomenons, but that led to nothing. Gosh this review is a lot more sour than I expected it to be. Damnit.
It was a solid read. Just not one I'd pick up again in a hurry. (hide spoiler)]...more

I adored this one!
Max was such a fun main character to follow. She was brought to life in the audio for me (thank you Lori Prince, I love your narrations).
Max's journey to self actualisation was chaotic, fun, and occasionally face-palm worthy, but aren't we all like that.
It was also nice seeing Nina and Ari pop up in this one, too. They were cute as heck.

This was an adventure and a half. I was easily captivated by this book and the story.
I read this one via audio, and it was superbly done.
I adore Em, she is such a great main character, and the way she and Maria slowly come together was just so lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and can't wait for book 2. Hopefully the audio won't be too far behind
(view spoiler)[Literally my only gripe is at the end where Em has Catherine and neither she nor Maria kill her. Like BABES, that would've been so easy to do! You had her and you let her go. Ugh. I get it for plot reasons, but STILL. (hide spoiler)]...more

There were some good parts in this. I just don't know if I can vibe with how long it took Jamie to come clean. I can't even say this is a product of its time because the book came out in 2019.

It was nice to see Maggie and Courtney's relationship over the span of those few weeks they first met as teens, right through to adulthood.
(view spoiler)[The plot was engaging and kept me interested. The death of Clay was a shock, and made me feel sad for the whole family.
I'm still stuck on the fact that Maggie and Courtney split up and not even a few months later, Courtney is getting married. I know she was grieving, too, but it just felt. Yeah. I don't know. It was only a few months after they broke up - that sits weird with me. I mean, I'm glad they got back together in the end, but yeah, it still feels weird. Maggie and Courtney were together for years before that happened. (hide spoiler)]...more

It's been a while since I read Season of Love, and I truly wanted to reread it (and also read For Never and Always too lol) before reading this one, but I needed the comfort of lesbians, and this provided that.
I loved it. There was something about this one that I just loved. I loved the messy, complexities of both MCs, and I adore found family in this.
I cried when Tara gets told by her friends that she is worthy of love because she is. And the end of the chapter where they're all talking about marriage? Superb.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one!
I don't watch reality TV shows, but I tend to enjoy reading about them, which is always fun for me. This one was a concept I hadn't seen before, and while there was a lot of comphet stuff (pairing men and women at the villa without any thought for the fact that people are queer (which is true to form for reality TV)), it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story.
Also, fuck Brad, am I right? What a tosser he is. I felt so bad for Ada - that she was forced to keep partnering with him despite the fact that he was a massive jerk off.
I adored the romance between Cas and Ada - their chemistry was off the charts. I loved their interactions, and the sex scenes were *chef's kiss* absolutely wonderful.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It's more like 4.5 stars, but I've rounded it up because yes.
This was such a wonderfully teenage book.
Lou, who has ADHD, and is trying her best at everything, finds herself in a bit of a fremeny situation with the new girl, Isabel. They rub each other up the wrong way, and Lou loves the banter and verbal sparring between the two.
Of course, it finally develops into more, and it was just so darn sweet to read.
I loved Lou's personality, and how her ADHD affected her whole life. It was definitely a fast paced story, I expected no less, and it kept me very entertained.
I adored the outings that Lou and Isabel went on as well - they were so cute togther.
