It is a good source for master’s degree and PhD students. Andrew tells formalist, realist and contemporary French film theories with their creators. And he shows world perspective of the creators. You can understand that their perspectives how their theories affect. Also, the book has a negative thing: Narration could be better. I didn’t find it very well.
