This wasn’t a bad story, but seriously, it didn’t read like the other stories I’ve read of this author. Like this was maybe one of their, or *the* first story written, before any writing experience. It’s grammatically well written, but the flow feels somehow chopped. The storytelling doesn’t flow, if that explains it better. Anyhow. Got through it, finally. On to the next book.
