How can I not like a book called "duke" given my name, well I cant. Look I grew up with g.i. joes and transformers and this adult "energon" universe is hyping me up big time. I emphasize "adult" because we have had enough weak, waterer down attempts and us adults want something to enjoy too.

OK bias aside, this book is awesome. I love the story and how Duke is on his own, trying to make sense of it all. They nailed the time line, starting at a point before the big rivalry between joe and cobra. The action is awesome, the writing is solid, the art is colorful and has a bit of retro style. Not sure I have been this excited for a series in a while, it is so damn fun!
