I'm only familiar with Edouard's works from flipping through them and deeming them too heavy, too sad, and too much to read on a lean soul. Seeing this new book in a glowing pink drew me in.
It is a brief exploration of his relationship with his mom, told as an observer of his own past. It starts out nervously, and warms throughout- slowly blooming into something secure from insecure beginnings.
