Why do producers insist on turning four episode stories into eight? The characters behaved in ways simply that were simply not believable ('Nadine, walk directly into the path of danger.' Was this inspired by the characters in the Halloween series?!) The constant backward and forward time shifts were a terrible distraction. The dialogue was just abysmal, oftentimes sounding like something out of the 1930s ("you two-timed us." REALLY?). Was this production bankrolled by big tobacco? Must a cigarette be lit in every single scene? I lived in this time period and I never saw people smoking like this. If it weren't based on a true story, I would never have bought it. We were not impressed.
