In the Hindi dub (VIP 2 - Lalkar), VIP stands for "Vella Important Person, which conveys the closest meaning to it's tamil counterpart.
The Hindi version (VIP 2 - Lalkar) underwent some dialogue revisions as Kajol felt they lacked punch to the Tamil original despite being a literally translated by seasoned dub writer, Mohan Nair. 2 writers (Aanand & Swati Goradiya) were roped in for the hindi dialogue rewrites. Kajol re-dubbed those lines, while the rest of the film was also dubbed in Hindi by popular tamil dubbing artist, Deepa Venkat, who had also dubbed her in Tamil. This marks Venkat's debut in Hindi as a dubbing artist.
This film is Kajol's second Tamil film, after Minsara Kanavu (1997).
