With a relatable and thoughtful main character, the story offers timely reflections on social media, complicated friendships, climate activism, and what it really means to have influence. It was a great read for my 11 year old daughter.

With themes of friendship, politeness, blended families, advocacy, and the influence of social media, this is a feel-good book for elementary/middle grade students. When the school books a fashion icon to distract students from an upcoming climate action march, Emily and her friends scheme to expose the lie. Along the way, she learns about real friends, herself, and what is truly important to her. Fun story with characters that are hard not to love.

A very enjoyable middle grade school story with all the current social issues that all kids go through. Very relatable and funny with serious issues too - climate change, bullying, adolescence in general. Sweeet, simple and all around entertaining
