The Association for Community Design (ACD) is building a virtual map to visualize the field of practitioners, organizations, academic institutions, advocacy groups who self-identify as part of the community design ecosystem. The Asset Atlas will serve as a crucial tool of connection: from students seeking mentors, young professionals searching for future employers, established practitioners looking for collaborators, to community members or clients engaging design consultants. First, add yourself, your firm, your volunteer organization to the map! Second, share with other community design practitioners and help grow the network! Now that you know HOW to GET MEMBERS. What do you DO with them in a community? — It starts with MONTHLY THEMES. — MONTHLY THEMES ensure you’re starting the design of your community with NOVELTY. — Each month, there’s a new theme designed to do 2 things. — To get members sharing their stories, experiences, and ideas. NOT ADVICE. — To tackle a theme that ultimately ladders up to your community’s BIG PURPOSE. — But the real benefit of Monthly Themes? You avoid the lull. How? — Just when you may hit a lull in your community, it’s time to introduce the next month’s theme. — This is SO EASY. AND IT WORKS.

Last quarter, I reviewed over 100 portfolios for free. I’m back again this month to review your design portfolio. It’s simple: → Every day, I’ll randomly choose 5 portfolios to review. → I’ll record a 5-minute video and send it to you. How to apply? → Send me your design portfolio via DM. → And hopefully, yours will be selected for review. Last quarter, I received over 600 portfolios, so it all depends on random selection. Ready to go? You can also comment on why you need your portfolio reviewed to increase the chances of me visiting your profile. All the best, folks! This is my way of giving back to the community.

Children and youth spend 80% of their time outside of school. Yet the public services that help nurture and prepare them remain dramatically underfunded and deeply inequitable. Through strategic public financing, Children's Funding Project helps communities, states, and Native nations expand equitable opportunities for children so they can thrive. Our goal was to create a modern, visually engaging, user-friendly website that clearly showcased their distinct bodies of work, their integrated approach for creating community impact, and the comprehensive resources they have created and curated. We had a fantastic experience collaborating with the team at Children's Funding Project on this, and we are so proud of what we achieved together! ✅ Refreshed their visual identity in a dynamic format that drives engagement and affinity with their mission ✅ Organized website in a logical order, creating clearer hierarchy and intuitive navigation ✅ Developed a search engine-optimized Resource Library with inter-page cross-linking, allowing for streamlined user journeys ✅ Designed 50+ custom illustrations and patterns used across their site Check out the full website at https://lnkd.in/gz4nZmM9 #thisisvisceral #digitalagency #branding #webdesign #webdevelopment

I own a creative agency that can help you maximize your impact and effectively tell your story so that you can do more good in the world.
Setting goals for your Church website can be key in reaching, engaging, and serving both current members and visitors. Consider these THREE areas’ when setting goals: 1️⃣ Purpose: What do you want the primary purpose of your church website to be? This could be sharing information, connecting with community, or even facilitating online services. 2️⃣ Community Engagement: Consider goals that can help create interactive features. Community events calendar, prayer request forms, and other aspects are great ways to cultivate more engagement. 3️⃣ User Friendly Design: A clean design and easy navigation can enhance the online experience for potential visitors and members. So with the creation of our official LinkedIn profile we wanted to give you a high level explanation of what the Collective Group is about. We are 2 guys, from 2 different generations whom dreamt of a world where people become people again and decided to do something about it. Our past, present and future conversations all have one important aspect integrated into it. How does it help not just humanity, but our families; is this something that will bring us together or further push us apart? One conversation led to another and many potential product ideas later, we are getting closer and closer to releasing our first product with many other's already added under "Future Products" to our pipeline. With that, we would lastly like to mention that we strive to be as transparent, accountable and responsible for our actions as possible as this is what we believe is missing from not just specific industries but from society too. Our current road map currently shows that we will start community building and teasing more about our first product come the beginning of next year, ideally from 1st of January, following this up in a few months afterwards with the release of our first product! Here's our first little teaser from our "Work in Progress" web application. [Menu elements subject to change] Until next time. - Dominik B
