Hello Stalkers!
Playtesting has been going very smoothly and we are still on track for an early/mid Spring release. Maybe April? Maybe May? If it's not out by June I must have fallen into a coma, and I'll try to give you advance warning if I plan on that happening.
Why am I being so coy with the date? Well, it's not intentional. With all of my releases I do at least one big playthrough before release to make sure all the bugs are ironed out and I'm happy with all the settings. I do this until it gets to a point where it just "feels right"; I'm confident all the features are working as intended and it has the right mood, feel, and balance. After all, I mod this game just so I can play it, so I'm not happy until I'm happy, and then hopefully you will be happy too.
You can follow along with my playtesting on my YouTube channel as I prepare Call of The Zone for release. I hope you're enjoying the videos, I try to make them as entertaining as possible!

Great companions, can you add commands (and c3po) ?
Can't wait to this mod
Making companions have more talking options is a great feature!Seeing the companions got me an idea i dont know if this is possible to do but i think i should tell it.In Shadow of Chernobly when you were near campfires you could hear NPC'S have conversations tell jokes tell stories play guitar and in Call of Pripyat play harmonica. In Call of Chernobly NPCS that sit by campfires almost never talk i never heard them talk ever and they play harmonica and guitar very very very rarely i only saw them play guitar once in vanilla COC and saw them play guitar more in Guitarnext addon by Grelka.Maybe you could add back the campfire conversations from SOC to your mod?I dont know if this is possible but its just an idea i got i think it would make the game much much better since i miss the NPC playing guitars conversations and talking by campfires very much it was a great part of Shadow of Chernobly i think it would be good here too.
