Before I was a papermaker I was a weaver, spinner and dyer. In other words, I was designing textiles. Even though I'm now a papermaker it still feels like fiber to me. I use flax and cotton and spin some of my papers and weave small elements to include in my wall pieces and artist books. I especially love all the history and the link with so many cultures.
