You think you know something, but then you realize you might not know it as well as you first thought! I was working on a bulletin board and wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving any of the Principles of Design out. When I googled it...the ones listed weren't exactly what I was thinking. Emphasis is shown here by centering the focus of the piece. It also makes the umbrella pop by using bright colors compared to the others shown. This is also the only umbrella where the viewer can see part of the persons face.

Appreciating architecture is closely related to the knowledge of principles of design. Complicated as they sound, under the guidance of dedicated lessons children quickly recognise the aesthetic values of architecture. Building upon the lessons, children can benefit from the knowledge to get to know art at a later stage.

For the Principles of Design I did balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, pattern, and rhythm. The hardest I thought was rhythm because you had to combine movement and pattern together.
