This is a shot for a blog post. I wanted the wood stove to have a fire in it but I was too lazy to start one and keep an eye on it so I did what any self-respecting photographer would do: I faked it. Inside the stove is a 1/4 power flash with double cut CTO and Omni Bounce diffuser. It was triggered by a Pocket Wizard. I was a bit surprised it had no trouble with the signal going inside a cast iron chamber.
