Keep those pesky skirts out of your way or show off your pretty petticoat! 100% handmade in the Pacific Northwest, each skirt hike is hand tooled from vegetable tan leather then dyed and riveted in your choice of leaf shapes and colors. Offered in leaf shapes from three powerful and mystical trees: black oak, white oak and rowan with option choice of letter stamp on the loop. Embossed leather is stamped using a preshaped stamp (think like a rubber stamp, but metal). Tooling involves carving into the leather and using a series of tools to craft the shape, creating a more 3 dimensional, intricate and unique shape. Tooling is more time consuming, but we think the difference is worth it!
