The Tree of Souls (Na'vi name: Vitraya Ramunong[1]), is a giant weeping willow-like tree and the most sacred place of the Omatikaya clan. It is considered to be their closest connection to Eywa on Pandora. The Spirit Tree is a sacred site for the Reef People of the Metkayina clan situated deep under the waters of the Cove of the Ancestors. Similar to the Tree of Voices or the Tree of Souls for the Omatikaya clan, the Spirit Tree is the Metkayina’s main access point to Ewya’s neural network providing memories, stored “spirits” of their ancestors and even oxygen allowing for prolonged sessions underwater.
