☝🏽First, you need good mobility in your rib cage. 
✌🏽 Then, you want to learn to contract your abs from the bottom up. 

But last, you’ll need your upper abs to help close, or lower, that flared rib cage. 

The muscles that do this (external obliques) lie in a very similar location and orientation to a muscle that pulls your shoulder blade forward around your rib cage. 

🔥 When you engage this muscle in your shoulder blade (serratus anterior), it also helps you turn on your external obliques.
