    TTB Seeks Further Comments on Standards of Fill for Wine & Distilled Spirits

    In response to our earlier proposals concerning standards of fill for wine and distilled spirits, we received requests for additional standards of fill and an end to the distinction between the standards of fill for distilled spirits in cans and those for other types of containers. As a result, we have issued a supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking to solicit new comments on the requests made in response to our original proposal.

     

    TTB Established the San Luis Rey AVA

    In this final rule, we establish the new San Luis Rey American viticultural area (AVA) in San Diego County, California, effective September 30, 2024.

     

    TTB Proposes the "Rancho Guejito" AVA

    This proposed American viticultural area (AVA) in San Diego County, California, would be entirely within the existing South Coast AVA and have an overlap with the existing San Pasqual Valley AVA.
