Modern rustic reclaimed wooden garden planter. Made from reclaimed scaffold boards. Ideal for outdoor plants, flowers, herbs and vegetables. Features holes for drainage and is positioned on top of small wooden feet. Pictures of the example pieces may slightly vary, as each piece of reclaimed wood is different and reacts differently to stains/oils. The time of the year also has an effect on the woods natural colour too. Our pieces are coated in Osmo Poly oil then second coated in clear boiled linseed oil for protection. The unit pictured measures L 100cm, D 40cm, H 30cm and in our clear oil finish which highlights the woods natural colour. Each piece will be coated in oil for exterior use. I already had the wood boxes from another project so decided to spruce them up with cement board and cement covering. After it dries I gave it a light sand. I didn’t want it too rough or too smooth just textured enough. I did also spray some waterproof cement sealer too for added protection.
