Fans of the Assassin's Creed series will be able to take on the role of a stealth assassin starting today. Coming soon to virtual reality (VR) devices is Assassin's Creed: Nexus, a special installment of the series that enables you to look at the adventures of Ezio, Kassandra and Connor, the three famous protagonists of the series, from a new perspective.

Ubisoft has moved the formula from traditional platforms to VR devices, specifically Meta's devices. Assassin's Creed: Nexus will be available on three products from Mark Zuckerberg's company:

  1. Meta Quest 2 (currently available for $300);
  2. Meta Quest 3 (available for $549.99);
  3. Meta Quest Pro (available for $1199.99).

For now we do not know the price of the game itself, although it will be available for purchase through the official website of Meta, probably later today, so it will soon have no secrets from us. For the moment, however, it only says that the game will become available "soon."

The main character of Nexus will be a woman called Dominika Wilk. She is a member of the Assassin Brotherhood and her mission is to decipher the mysterious artifacts hidden by the brotherhood. To do this, she travels to their memories and the times in which they lived.

Recall that Ezio Auditore da Firenze appeared in Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations. Connor Kenway appeared in Assassin's Creed III, and we met Kassandra in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.
