In Once Human, Starchrom is a vital resource used at the Wish Machine to unlock unique weapon and armor blueprints. These blueprints are unavailable anywhere else, making Starchrom essential to crafting the most powerful gear. Read on to discover the best ways to farm Starchrom.

How to Get Starchrom in Once Human

The rarest blueprints in the Wish Machine can cost a whooping 8,000 Starchroms, so if you crave the ultimate arsenal to dominate the battlefield, you'll need to stockpile this valuable resource. Fortunately, there are several ways to get Starchrom in Once Human:

  1. Journey: This is a great starting point, especially for new players. Press J to open the Journey tab and complete tasks for Starchrom rewards.
  2. Season Goals: Press Tab while in menu to check the seasonal challenges that grant Starchrom alongside other goodies. Aim for the high ranks to get the most out of it.
  3. Stellar Planual: You can earn this through gameplay. It can be found in crates, dropped by enemies, etc. Stellar Planuals can be exchanged for Starchrom Crates at any settlement by talking to Severin. These crates are like gacha games in Once Human and opening them will give you a chance to win Starchrom.
  4. Stardust Resonant Filter: This device can be placed in your territory to purify Cortex, which are materials gained through world events or enemy drops. There’s a limit to the amount of Starchrom you can earn from purifying things, that resets weekly. Purifying items with your team or Hive members grants a bonus amount of Starchrom to everyone involved. Aim to purify Cortexes at higher levels. You can always process normal Cortexes on a Synthesis Bench to get higher-level ones.

Keep in mind that the purification process will trigger monster waves. Prioritize building your defenses and gearing up to protect your base from destruction.
