Since yesterday, Assassin's Creed Valhalla has been available on Game Pass, but not all players are happy about it. Many of them do not have access to the English language version and are looking for a solution to this troublesome problem.

AC: Valhalla in Game Pass without English version?

The matter concerns PC Game Pass, which also features the Scandinavian installment of the famous series. When downloading the game via Ubisoft Connect (a linking of both services is required), a list of languages to choose from appears - among them are languages like German, but strikingly no English, which was pointed out by one of the players in a short video. This can also be seen in the screenshot we took.

As it turned out, this is not the only person with such a problem. In the same thread, there were many comments from people who also do not have the option to choose English and want to find out how to fix it.

Among various ideas, one concept stands out. The user presented exactly what needs to be changed in the files to eliminate the problem. Some people decided to follow his advice and managed to introduce, among others: English subtitles in the game menu, but they fail to import the audio, which still plays in the language in which they downloaded the game.

Xbox and Ubisoft have not commented on the matter yet.

Let's note that AC: Valhalla can also be played via the cloud. In this case, the game has English language in its options. The situation probably looks similar when downloading the title to the console.

So far, neither Ubisoft nor Xbox representatives have commented on this matter. Complaints about the lack of English began to appear under yesterday's post on X on the official Xbox Game Pass profile, but they did not receive a response from the administrators (while they willingly responded to other comments).

Let us add that AC: Valhalla is not alone in having problems after being added to Game Pass. Hell Let Loose, which entered Microsoft's offer on January 4, is also having problems. In this case, many players using Game Pass cannot easily access the game servers and enjoy the game.
