The remake of The Last of Us lived to see a visual comparison with the original version. The differences are very clear.

The Last of Us, which premiered in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, is for many gamers one of the best titles to come out for the console. The combination of beautiful graphics, satisfying gameplay and detailed visuals made this title one of the most talked-about launches in the history of the gaming industry. We already know that Joel and Ellie's story will get a refresh, and now we can see a visual comparison with what the original presented.

Visual comparison of The Last of Us

A user by the handle ElAnalistaDeBits published a video on his profile on YouTube, in which he compares the visual aspects of The Last of Us with its heavily revamped edition. In the video, the changes are very evident and you can see not only differences in graphics quality, but also smoother animations. However, the original looks so good that I'm not sure whether the PS3 version or the PS4 refreshed version was used as the basis.

Recently, the developers released a video showing how the game's remake will present itself remake, but only on a direct comparison can you see how noticeable the differences are.

Conclusions

Comparison of the refreshed version of The Last of Us with the original is undoubtedly quite impressive, but watching the video, I also come to another conclusion, namely that it occurs to me how good the original release looks despite the passage of years. The PlayStation 3 version is now 9, but it still looks satisfactory. The remake will certainly sell well, even despite the high price. After all, it's worth remembering that this fantastic post-apocalyptic story was not previously available to PC owners, who will finally be able to experience it thanks to the remake. The PS5 edition will debut on September 2, while the game will arrive on PC at a later date.
