So the next release of alone mod should be here in a week or two (hopefully but im not promising anything) but in this release i have/am changing all the maps so they are all fixed because i have heard some complaints and stuff about people saying the lighting is bad and after looking back at the maps i realised they looked horrible. so i am currently fixing alot of issues with the maps and basically redoing the entire map lighting (kinda) so they look much more smoother and cleaner.

Really nice stuff, the experience is even better on controller because of the analog movement and suppressed footstep sounds. Will the next release still add ambience/background noise and a soundtrack panel that plays custom music?
Thanks dude. And the next release is gonna have ambient sounds. And you can press x to load the song panel but for now you can only play the songs that are there

i know this is a lot to ask but could you consider making two versions, one at night and one at day (by day i mean like like foggy)
yeah for sure dude. i was actually considering making one for day time instead of night time a while back when i started the mod. ill probably make it when i finish all the hl2 maps

or here's an example, make some white eyes in the dark distance, as if some mystical creatures supposedly live in the mod and who took all the living to their afterlife kingdom, that is, some kind of mysticism should always be present in the modification and these creatures constantly watch the player, that is, there is no one but mystical creatures are there, it will be a very cool addition to the mod!
This mod doesnt really need horror elements and frankly i think it would defeat the purpose of being *alone*
