During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, Steven Lee as well as everyone in the multiverse except for the seven Paragons, was killed in an antimatter wave by the Anti-Monitor on December 10, 2019,[1] only to be restored a month later, after the Paragons and the Spectre created a new universe.[2]

Steven was dragged to the Mirrorverse and replaced by a mirror duplicate[3] when Mirror Monarch attempted to conquer Central City.[4] While he was there, he saw how the duplicate acted towards his family. Steven felt helpless.[3] When all of the citizens were freed,[4] Steven was among them.
Steven and his wife, Alice, went to group meetings about the incident to express their feeling and to learn to cope with what had happened. During one of the meetings, Iris West-Allen was in the audience. Days later, Iris was the speaker while Steven and Alice sat in the audience and listened.[3]
