💡 Innovations? Yes, also with trucks and busses: our colleagues of MAN Truck & Bus SE just introduced a zero-emission vehicle, the hydrogen-powered MAN hTGX. The small series with about 200 units will serve 2025 as an alternative zero-emission vehicle for special applications: ✅ axle variants: 6x2 and 6x4 for high payloads ✅ perfect for areas without charging stations: max. range of 600 km ✅ e.g. for the transport of heavy goods, construction or timber transport “With the hydrogen combustion truck MAN hTGX, we are offering a useful addition to our battery-electric vehicles, thus rounding off our zero-emission product portfolio for special markets and heavy-duty applications.”, says Frederik Zohm, executive board member for research & development at MAN Truck & Bus. This year, the focus is on Turbonite - an innovation from Porsche's years-long color development process. “We are proud to be the first outside brand represented in Pantone’s Fashion Color Trend Report. 💨🚗 Record-breaking Aerodynamics - the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron is the most aerodynamic AUDI AG ever! 🌬️ With an exceptionally low drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.21, the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron achieves the best value an Audi production vehicle has ever registered. This was accomplished through meticulous attention to detail by aerodynamics developers Dr. Andreas Lauterbach and Matteo Ghelfi and wheel designer Andreas Valencia Pollex. 💬 Moni Islam, Head of Aerodynamics/Aeroacoustics Development, explains that the wind tunnel at Audi in Ingolstadt, where wind speeds up to 300 km/h are possible, played a crucial role. The tunnel’s low operating noise allows the team to hear and minimize wind noise on the vehicle. Aerodynamics are vital for electric vehicles, determining energy efficiency and range. The A6 Sportback e-tron can achieve up to 756 kilometers on a single charge thanks to its outstanding aerodynamics.
