Johnny Worthington Jr. a.k.a. J.J. Worthington is a male child monster who is the son and second child of Fear Co. CEO, Johnny Worthington III in the Disney/Pixar animated series, Monsters at Work.

Background[]

Personality[]

Unlike his grumpy sister, J.J. is considerably a lot more good-natured, if a bit slow-witted. He also takes a lot more to jokes than many other monsters do as he expresses interest at Tylor's attempt at making a joke.

Appearances[]

Monsters at Work[]

In "A Monstrous Homecoming", J.J. is seen along with the rest of his family supporting his father Johnny when they attend a homecoming football game at Monsters University. He is amused at Tylor's rather bad joke in contrast to the rest of the audience who are either bewildered or annoyed at his attempts at comedy.

He appears again in "Opening Doors", where he is visiting FearCo. and meets Tylor again. He is impressed at Tylor's scaring ability. According to Claire, J.J. sings in a baritone, but his high-pitched voice sort of invalidates this claim.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike his sister, mother and dad, J.J. has four arms and no legs. This could be on account of some genetic material from either side of his family.
  • He has the same name as his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, meaning he is the fourth of the family named Johnny. But instead of being called Johnny Worthington IV, he is called Johnny Jr.
