A sense of scale

Since 20 Nov 2022, Xeverything11 is adding the conversions to the recipes, most importantly the SI units, which was established in 1960.

m
Length: metre

Defines the metre as the length of the path travelled by light in a vacuum during a time interval of 1/299,792,458th of a second

kg
Mass: kilogram

Defines the kilogram by defining the Planck constant to be exactly 6.62607015×10−34 kg⋅m2⋅s−1

s
Time: second

Defines the second by taking the fixed numerical value of the caesium frequency, ΔνCs, the unperturbed ground-state hyperfine transition frequency of the caesium 133 atom, to be 9,192,631,770 when expressed in the unit Hz, which is equal to s−1.

A
Electric current: ampere

Defines the current by fixing the elementary charge e to be exactly 1.602176634×10−19 C (coulomb), which means an ampere is an electrical current equivalent to 1019 elementary charges moving every 1.602176634 seconds or 6.241509074×1018 elementary charges moving in a second.

I have no problems on your user script. Xeverything11 (discusscontribs) 08:39, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've made documentation at user:L10nM4st3r/ReportUser. (The settings section is not yet part of the stable version you are using, but the unstable "beta" one). Hope it helps. L10nM4st3r / ROAR at me! 09:08, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Linking in recipes

[edit source]

Hi @Xeverything11! Thanks for your latest recipe contributions—could you make sure to link appropriately when adding recipes, such as in the ingredient lists? You can take a look at my revisions of your recipes to see what I mean. Thanks! —Kittycataclysm (discusscontribs) 19:12, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Xeverything11 Pinging you as a reminder since you've been contributing more recipes—could you please add links when contributing? —Kittycataclysm (discusscontribs) 22:51, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Cookbook ingredient conversions

[edit source]

Hi @Xeverything11—per Cookbook policy, when you are converting units in Cookbook recipes, please leave the original units as is and put the conversions in parentheses. Thanks! —Kittycataclysm (discusscontribs) 15:28, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Xeverything11 I've noticed that this is still an ongoing issue, and I've had to fix incorrect conversions from the original on multiple occasions. Could you please either follow the Cookbook policy or engage in a discussion on the issue? It's difficult for me to understand what's going on without communication. Thanks —Kittycataclysm (discusscontribs) 13:29, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
