Professional Philosophy

Contribute to the democratization to the access of information, culture and knowledge via open projects such as Wikipedia.

I mainly contribute to the visibility of underrepresented groups on Wikipedia by leveraging library collections and my knowledge as a librarian.

I sometimes work on Wikipedia on a paid basis as a librarian at the McGill University Library. As part of my duties, I teach Wikipedia and its sister projects to users in the McGill community. I also serve as a resource librarian on Wikipedia issues.
