Buy Me, Sir (stand-alone) follows Melissa Martin aka Amy L. Randall as she starts her new job in the cleaning department, but she is truly on an undercover stalking mission. As the story unfolds we get to a know a sweet and innocent young lady who has had nothing but hardship and tragedy.
The object of her affection or rather obsession is attorney and heir Alexander James Henley Jr. aka The Puppet Master. We quickly see that the callous and sinister businessman is a caring and thoughtful man, a father an ex-husband and... a man ruled by his sexual desires and proclivities.
The story unfolds in two parallel universes as Melissa cleans, frets and devices a plan to sell herself to Alexander at the auction, while he copes, reflects and fights his vices. Will Melissa’s plan to gain Alexander’s affection pan out or will these two lonely souls be separated by the magnitude of her deception?

I'm not really sure where to go with this review...
Basically, I spent my whole reading experience with this book as 2017 SAG Awards Winona Ryder.
Admittedly, this book was pretty far out of my comfort zone. I knew it going in. I embraced the level of discomfort I was probably going to experience with this read. I welcomed it with an open mind. And, it was definitely uncomfortable... on many levels. But, I muscled through reading the whole entire book... despite my deep desire to DNF several times.
Ironically, what irritated me most had nothing to do with the "taboo" side of this story.
I know, right?! I was surprised, too. Though it definitely pushed my limits, it wasn't what I disliked the most.
What I was so fucking frustrated with was the fucking crazy, psychotic, nut case that was the female MC. What an absolute shit-show thiswoman girl was. (BTW, she's 18 & he's mid-40's just in case that's an issue for you) She's nuts, y'all. Come on, say it with me... #stalker #obsessed
Also, the little brother she's taking care of since her parents have died is a total after thought. Gotta be honest, I'm not even sure why this aspect was even in the story. It added absolutely nothing for me besides making me question her sanity even more. Constantly leaving him to pursue her fucked up obsession with the H. Perhaps THAT was the point... to show the level of crazy she was frolicking in. (?)
This story was far too long. Dragging in several areas and forcing my eyes to skim through bits of filler. I'm aware that this is fiction and therefore will not comment on how the ending is completely unrealistic. But, seriously... disappointed. Epilogue... Epi-fail.
I would also like to disclose that there are definite issues in this book that some people may find unsavory. I'd say, like the two MCs, you really must have no "hard limits" to read this book. But, this is a Jade West book, and though I've not read any of her other books, I DID familiarize myself with her style prior to reading, so I was aware of the taboo I was most likely walking into. That being said... I didn't mind her writing. She can definitely write a fucking smoking hot sex scene! Very spicy... very, very steamy! Good stuff! And though I'm glad I read it to push my comfort zone, this one missed the mark for me.

Melissa “Lissa” Martin is a nineteen year old who was forced into adulthood when her parents died in a tragic car accident. Since then, she has been raising her toddler brother and had to put her education and dreams on hold. Alexander James Henley, Jr. is a high profile criminal defense attorney known as the puppet master, pulling strings to get his clients the best outcome. While his professional life is in the spotlight, Alexander prefers to keep his private dealings off the radar, as his predilections are considered deviant to many.
“I’m interested in all fucked up. Damaged and dark. Broken. Like me.”
With a plan in place, Lissa implements each step in order to get close to this elusive man. While it all clicks into place, much easier than Lissa planned, her determination borders on obsession but she has her eye on the prize. Meanwhile, Alexander is feeling more than he’s felt in years and believes he’s met his match.
“And fuck, how I fucking fuck her. I fuck her like a man fucking possessed, her body shunting under me as I keep my grip tight around her pretty neck.”
“I kiss her. Plunging my tongue inside her breathless mouth as she chokes for me.”
While Alexander and Lissa move forward, the fear that Lissa’s manipulation will be discovered is ever present. Knowing how Alexander feels about Lissa, each time she deceives him becomes more painful especially knowing Alexander’s past. Even when Lissa is put to the ultimate test, she chooses deception.
“The crazy train collides with the end of the track, and it feels wild and scary to be this unhinged.”
As it all unfolds, Alexander must come to terms with his past and those that continually choose to label his sexual needs. Knowing Lissa doesn’t place any limits on Alexander, he feels acceptance for the first time but when all he knows is a lie, it all falls apart.
When starting a Jade West book, I always feel comfortable about the journey she is going to offer. For one, it’s always going to be hot as hell, but she also has a way of dealing with different themes in an interesting and fresh way. With Lissa, she has many admirable qualities, as she is hard working and assumes so much responsibility but her obsession leaves the reader conflicted – purposely so – at times. For me, I liked Alexander from the start. Even with his outward air of confidence, he is still human and has quite a vulnerable side. And the scenes with Alex and a certain character absolutely made my day!
Buy Me, Sir offers a story about two people trying to live the only way they know how given their family circumstances. The plot unfolds at a steady pace and you can be rest assured about getting some dirty, hot times! For those looking for some kink with a big heaping of a character driven plot, I recommend!

Hmm, well, okay, yeah, so, hmm...
“I’m going to get to the eighteenth floor,” I say. “That’s where he is.”
“And then what? Hope he likes stripy caps and polyester?”
I shake my head, and it seems funny again. It all seems funny again.
I throw my crappy cap at Dean’s head. “And then I’m going to sniff his seat.”
He catches it easily. “I’m not even sure you’re joking,” he says.
I shrug. Smile. Make our tea, but say nothing.
Because, truth be told, I’m not even sure I’m joking myself.
Warning: If you have never read a book by Jade West before, I am not sure this is the best book to start. Lots of sniffing is going on in this book.
This book is the ultimate proof that “when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it”.
Because Melissa really wanted to get into trouble with Alexander. Really really wanted.
And well….she does. Gets into trouble.
Melissa liked this man since she was 16 years old. He came to her school for a talk and they shared a cigarette together. Since then many things have happened. Her parents died in an accident, she has become responsible for her little brother, she dropped her studies at the university and never became a criminal lawyer. The only thing that it did not change has been her fixation on Alexander James Henley. Jnr.
So, she starts working at his company as a cleaner and soon enough she becomes a personal cleaner at his house.
It is an interesting book, but I think its main issue is that it has no focus. The writer is juggling with so many things:
1. A very large age difference between Alexander and Melissa.
2. A very large status difference between Alexander and Melissa. He always had money. He had a good education. He is successful in his job. She is middle class. She never finished her studies. She never followed her dreams and she is a cleaner.
3. Melissa’s constant lies and stalking.
4. Alexander’s sex addiction and kinks.
5. Melissa’s fixation and kinks.
6. Melissa’ effort to raise her little brother – although we don’t really see much of these two interact.
7. The struggle of Melissa’s to find a job and her sorrow for dropping her studies.
8. Numerous descriptions of Melissa’s job as a cleaner and how good she is in cleaning and looking after Alexander.
9. The relationship of Melissa with her best friend, Dean. We never learned much about it.
10. The results of a bad divorce and the relationship of Alexander with his children (loves them but he does not know what to do with them and he does not accept the fact that they have a new life now) and his ex-wife (hates her now, never loved her before).
11. The fact that Alexander was sexually abused when he was younger and how this influenced his choices and his preference in sex.
12. Alexander’s daddy-issues. Justifiable of course but still ongoing and unresolved – at least for the majority of the book
13. The network that provides girls in “reasonable” prices and for all the tastes.
14. The virgin auction that it also fits in the book somehow.
15. The side of Alexander as a philanthropist who cooks and feeds the homeless.
16. The relationship of Alexander with Dean.
17. The actual love story between Alexander and Melissa which is based for the majority of the book on lies. Because Melissa only wants what he wants and she is happy only when he is happy.
Most of these important and fascinating components of the story were described superficially really. Not much depth.
In between the previous described situations, there are lots of scenes with kinky sex which may push your limits a bit…
As a said it is an interesting story.
You may say that deep down it is a fairytale twisted story where the innocent, poor Cinderella finds and gets her kinky, handsome prince.
So all well :)

Melissa (Lissa) Martin had her life all planned out. As an aspiring lawyer, she looked up to her idol to follow his footsteps. However, life pulled her to a different direction. Desperate to get back to the right path, she took the strings into her own hands in an attempt to change her life without realizing what kind of tangle she could find herself in.
Before starting the book I was excited by the prospect of the manipulation element in the story. I'm glad to say it successfully carried the story.
Alex was initially a character I wasn't sure I would relate too, but he quickly won me over. I like how he had a good heart hiding behind a polished veneer.
Lissa was quite a character. While I hated her for some of the things she did, at the same time I could respect her determination.
I really like the storyline. There were parts where it was disgustingly funny, some were heartwarming and some even sad.
I'm probably too much of a deviant, but I was hoping the sex was filthier haha! There were a few scenes that made me very happy, but overall it was a bit tame except for one recurring element.
Buy Me, Sir is a story of a couple looking for an escape from their regular lives. It would appeal to readers looking for an erotica with an engaging story.

3.5* emotional and difficult read at times.
Alexander Henley is a sex addict, he pays a fortune for the dirty sex he likes including erotic asphyxiation, porn, webcam girls, escorts… a constant itch he can’t seem to scratch. With his marriage gone, his sons living with his wife he's free to indulge whenever he likes and he does but he also struggles with himself and his life and this is what made me continue reading.
I thought I'd struggle with Alexander more than I did I think the self loathing went a long way to making him flawed, more human and less of the monster he could have been without this.
This was an addictive read and even though I didn't always like what I was reading (it's safe to say it pushed my boundaries) I was hooked.
All my problems surprisingly came with Melissa, her stalking and obsession were a little too much for me and while Joseph is her brother and not her son he barely gets a second thought as she pursues Alexander with an unwavering determination. This I struggled with, the decisions and mistakes she made were the only thing I didn't like.
While I didn't always like Melissa or Alexander's proclivities this proved to be an addictive read.

Since Jade West changed the title (originally) from Puppet Master and I'm already intrigued. Her works always push me out of my comfort zone. And this one definitely a bit uncomfortable for me. The story looks promising but it took too freakin' long to finished.
Melissa Martin is your average woman. Nothing special about her. She works her ass off as a new cleaner in the posh building. One of her purpose is to be known by the man of her 'wet' dream. But of course, who is she? Just a lowly worker. Melissa is really independent and hard-working woman. She's orphan along with her little brother along with her best friend, Dean who always help her.
Alexander Henley Jr. known as "Puppet Master", an elite lawyer with hard-ass attitude. He hated his job but couldn't help it. The legacy from his old man. The feud with his ex-wife just because he's still the father of their children. Alexander has dark taste when it came to women. He's very sexual active and hard to please. Such an interesting character with complicated life.
The story told from 2 POVs between Melissa and Alexander. I admit half of the story was really boring with introduction and too much personal life. Melissa surprised me with her stalker tendency. Now, as a personal cleaner for Alexander, she's getting so close but afraid. This girl really obsess with Alexander because she's planning something unbelievable and risky. Fortunately, Alexander crossed her path and Melissa get to know him; but not as herself.
Finally, the sex. Oh my god... Their sexual actives is not for the faint of heart. Alexander is really hardcore to the heart. He's borderline a sadist with minimal limits. Melissa has no limits and it gets him excited and hard. He enjoys breath play and beating and hard fucking. Of course, safe, (a bit in)sane and consensual. Their chemistry was undeniable. However, Alexander challenged Melissa to told him her darkest fantasy and... BOOM! It's really happening.
Slowly Alexander opened his heart to fakeMelissa. He told her about his brutal past. He couldn't forget her and their dirty sex journey. He really did everything for her. Melissa became way too comfortable with this play and when the truth revealed, it hurts. I kinda liked Melissa at first, then she annoyed me with her 'delusion' with Alexander when her friend is the realist one.
In the end, they cleared up their problem and ride into the sunset together. Overall, the sex is the main factor I finished this book. I didn't really care about their mundane line. It was nicely written and could be shorter. Also there is another surprise came from the epilogue. Totally blown away!

In the end, they cleared up their problem and ride into the sunset together. Overall, the sex is the main factor I finished this book. I didn't really care about their mundane line. It was nicely written and could be shorter. Also there is another surprise came from the epilogue. Totally blown away!

As per Jade West style, it’s a kinky book with a great story. This review is for anyone interested in the book and Isabella R, who knows how I am.
I have never given a warning on any of my reviews. However, I digress; there is a first time for everything. So here is your warning, this is not the kinkiest or dirtiest book by The Author. I may go into detail, but I don’t want to give the book away. The main character Alex, can be rough and, at times, damm right brutal. You have anal, dry anal, CNC, Asphyxiation, MMF ménage. ( I would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that scene) And that is some of them. But most of them, If you want hearts and flowers, this is not it. I so let my freak flag fly high with this book, and I fly it proudly. Remember consent is key, and no judgment from me.
Alex, aka Puppet Master (he can be my puppet master any day), is a rich and powerful lawyer, took over the family firm after his father retired. The story is well written, and Jade West is the queen of writing Erotica with a well-developed storyline. The first half of the book is a slow burn and the build-up of both the main characters. The second half, well, make sure to have an extra pair of knickers nearby; you may need them. So steamy, and my emotions rain high. I cried, laughed, and cheered them on. There may be some sex scenes that are cringe-worthy but remember; it’s all consensual. I can’t say enough good things about this book, and I do recommend it.

Buy Me, Sir was an enjoyable story, but it lacked the usual Jade West flare for me. It had it's hot moments but overall it seemed to be more tame than I would expect from this author. It also moved really slow in the beggining so it took some time for me to get into it.
Overall, even with the slow start and less than heated smexiness I still liked this book. I thought it was a unique story and it kept me intrigued once things the characters actually met.

Jade West books are my guilty pleasure. I know she will always put me in a good mood. I didn’t read anything about Buy Me, Sir prior to one-clicking. After reading it, I have to say, I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. The kink and sex made up for its faults. The idea of the book is good, but the execution is lacking. If you want a super steamy read, then you will not be disappointed with this one, BUT that’s all you are gonna get.
The book starts with foreshadowing. You know, that one chapter or prologue where it “hooks” the reader in. I don’t care for those. I hate it when an author does it. It actually pisses me off so if you are like me, just skip the prologue.
Because the first part of the book gave away a lot of the book. You know Melissa sold herself to Alexander. The first half of the book is about this. Yes, I kid you not. The first 50% is how Melissa LEADS up to selling herself to Alexander. I think I could have been fine with that, if I didn’t know it was coming. I found the first half kind of long and drawn out. I skimmed the filler parts.
Melissa is a crazy girl. Usually the Hero is the stalker of the book, but this time, it’s the Heroine. The idea of a Heroine as the stalker is kind of different and I didn’t hate it. It’s over the top stalker too, just so you have been warned. She likes whatever Alexander likes, she wants to be in his life and she does ANYTHING to be near him.
Also, another tick of mine is that there is a secret in the book. I really do hate these kinds of plots. I wished it would be all out in the open and there would be a different obstacle.
Melissa is a single parent, sort of. She has to raise her younger sibling and there really was no need for this story line. The kid is non-existent and it saddens me because I LOVE a single parent book. I found Melissa kind of selfish and crazy for leaving the kid ALL the time to have sex. But she’s not the mama, so who cares right? (I’m using sarcasm if you couldn’t tell).
Now, the kink. It saves the book. Alexander is a crazy kinky man. He loves to punish and push and has no fault in that. I enjoyed these parts because it’s different. Every once in a while I want an over-the-top male and Alexander delivers. If you want even more kink, here’s a spoiler .
The ending is a bit rushed and I kind of wanted that part to be more of the book. If I had the perfect book, this is what I would have done: .

My favourite Jade West to date.
This one has totally reset my boundaries. Alexander is a true sexual deviant, getting his kicks from some extreme sexual behaviour. It made me wince, yes, but somehow the author made it sound intensely erotic and sensual. Honestly.
I may need professional help after reading this, but jeez it got me squirming in my seat.
There's a thriller feel to this too as Melissa is keeping a massive, gamechanging secret from Alexander so all of the time I was squirming away reading the smut I was waiting on that to blow up. It really kept me glued to my kindle, I've struggled to put this one down.
My favourite thing about Jade West's stories though is that as well as some of the filthiest, most depraved smut I've ever read, her stories have heart. This wasn't all body fluids and unexpected items rammed into body cavities, they had chemistry, and feels and some really tender moments of affection. I have no idea how she does that, but it is one of the reasons why she's become an auto one-click author for me.

I don't recommend this book. If it had not been KU, I would have returned it. Character wise, Alexander, Melissa, and Dean were pretty disgusting human beings. Additionally, Alexander and Melissa were a good match as far as selfishness. Dean was a muddy doormat. They were a mentally screwed up motely crew and deserved each other. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy reading about them.
Alexander was a bisexual sadist top who craved rough, dry, bleeding sex with asphyxiation. Melissa wasn't into his kink, but was so obsessed with him she went along. She manipulated her gay friend Dean to join them. Both Melissa and Dean were virgins. Alexander frequented prostitutes and did not practice safe sex with condoms. Putting the kink aside, the lack of care and boundaries of these MCs just made me not really enjoy their sex scenes.

This book is not for the faint heart. The story is heavy with BDSM plus choking sex. MM sex is also featured. There is some trigger too. Sexual assault and disturbing power play.
But i am not surprise. This is Miss West work after all. Funny that i like this book and not so much on Dirty Bad Wrong. In my opinion this is re telling story of modern Cinderella for adult.
I like the writing although i found it dragging in the middle. The story can be cut into half. I feel i do not need that much education of BDSM to enhance the story.
Nevertheless, i do enjoy reading this book.

Alexander Henley is a puppet master. He pulls strings and others obey him.
Melissa Martin is an eighteen year old young woman with a lot of responsibilities. Her main concern is her baby bother, Joe. She has no other family; just her little brother and best friend, Dean.
When she lands a cleaning job at Mr. Henley's law firm, she knows that it was fate. You see, she knows Alexander. She has harbored a crush for him since the moment they first met, but of course, he doesn't remember her.
She makes it her mission for him to notice her. She will do anything to be with him. Anything. Even indulge his darkest desires.
And so, the descent to this endless rabbit hole begins.
I have to be honest here. Melissa was bloody insane! Reckless is her middle name but with all her faults, I liked her.
Alexander has to be one of my favorite Jade West heroes. Dark, tortured but so worth the effort. I LOVED him.
The book pushes the limits, but you already know that. It 's Jade West. The writing is phenomenal! I devoured the book in 24 yours. It was that good!

Jade West always delivers a good read to me. This book is no exception! I like how her character builds up as I read along, no situation is rushed and everything else is well defined! Though there's the element of BDSM, which the author is known for, but I consider this more of a love story. I like the swoon-worthy, dirty talker Alexander and I'm rooting for Melissa all the way! So far, this is my favorite book of Ms. West. When it comes to dark romance, BDSM, erotica type of books this is my go-to author!

Buy Me, Sir is my first read of Jade West. It was a slow build for me but the end certainly kept me on the edge of my seat. It was one thrilling but emotional novel.

The book is set in London and I was a bit disappointed the author did not adhere to the British language. It should have been arse instead of ass, shagging instead of fucking, bullocks instead of balls, wanking instead of jerk off, tube instead of underground.
And sometimes, occasionally, when I’m feeling particularly like my old cunt of a self, I’ll pretend. Just to check if I can still make them squirm. They didn’t call me the puppet master for nothing.

Jade West doesn't hold back when it comes to sex. That's also what I admire about her and her stories. They're so much more than sex. It's all about the characters and their deprived ways. He's a very flawed man who bails out corrupt people because he can since he's a powerful lawyer. Melissa is struggling since she's lost her parents. Now she's alone with her baby brother and needs money. She also has an obsession with Alexander.
When they get together it's rough but not uncomfortable to read because Jade West knows her stuff when it comes to sex. Alexander and Melissa don't hold back. It's intense and also a little scary how far Melissa goes because of her infatuation.
I liked this story because of Alexander. He's such an interesting and dark character with so many layers. It's Melissa's obsession with him that turned me off. She has met him one time and that was it. She loves him. It was too insta love for my taste and her stalker tendencies and lies were too much.
Overall I liked Buy Me Sir and was entertained by Alexander and his dangerous ways.

so intense and so good story line...
the best part of this book is its heroine....she is one of my favourite heroine till now ......she is so crazy,so determined and very very strong.....
her love is unconditional ......she love our hero so much that it make me brawl all the time while reading it......her whim to achieve something and how to achieve it is make me adored and emotional toward her all the time while reading this mind blowing book...
story plot is too good...so suspense its a little bit slow but once you started you just want to devour it.....and with a very great writing asusual by jade west...

.this book had a lot of intense scenes,bdsm,slightly mm scenes ,which might very sensitive heart don't stomach it but sigh....at the end of this book ,it is worth to read...
this book is a little bit dark but its all around unconditional love....true and pure feelings ...its all about the exposure of harsh realities of life......and the journey from destruction to a very pure happy life....

Own in Best of 2017. 4 stars
Instead of 3.5 stars, I changed to 4. Partly because I keep thinking about it and it is well-written - read on for more reasons.
Alexander (H ) is a lawyer - good looking but not very nice. He also likes very rough, dirty & extreme sex (if you want to know more, message me.) Melissa (h) is an aspiring lawyer who dropped out of college after the tragic death of her parents. She works as an cleaner in H's office building. She is raising her baby brother alone. Melissa has a stalkerish obsession with Alexander.
Okay - having got that out of the way, I went into this blind as one of the books in a bundle. What made this different? It was not a series of sex scenes one after the other. It is actually a good, kind of a slow-build love story - in a way. Melissa orchestrates quite a bit and with subterfuge - I cringed a little at some of her methods. As much as Alexander is a jerk and into extreme sex, I like him. I wanted these two characters to be together - even in all their glorious dysfunction.
Did I mention that Alexander has an "ugly, unlikeable" rescue dog? Well, if any of you know my previous username, you won't be surprised to know that Alexander won a small piece of my heart because of Brutus - and Brutus...my hero.
My review does not do this book justice. Some may have problems with some of the extreme sex - but the love story, a little suspense, and the epilogue are worth any squicks. However, be warned if you have triggers. I agree with other reviewers - worth the read.

What a book.
Absolutely crazy! I loved every minute of it. Its nuts and oh so amazing. A must read for people who like their books to be a little different from time to time. This book surely is a gem.

What can I say... I love Jade West kinky fuckery staff she writes. This is only reason I gave this book 2.5 stars. Main heroine is batshit crazy, annoying as hell!!! And because of that storyline is silly, childish, unrealistic at all.

Too much sniffing is going on in this book... Melissa is bats-hit crazy and a stalker. Alexander is, I don't know, troubled for sure... Their story was intense, kinky, quite captivating but I hated the ending...

Jade West is everything :)
Ok so I'm slightly obsessed with the way that Jade West takes a trope or a kink that I'm not necessarily into and makes it feel slightly normal, and reasonable to just be part of every day life. I planned to read this story anyway, but bumped it up my TBR on the recommendation of a friend. I'm glad I did because the story was interesting, and the characters were crazy, but I loved them all the same.
I don't think I'll be partaking in the kink in this book any time soon, but I will say that this story was extremely well written and kept me turning pages to see what would happen next.
If you are easily triggered by rough intercourse, I'd probably stay away from this one, or at least skim through some of the naughty bits. In my opinion the scenes were written well and done as tastefully as possible. That probably sounds insane to say, but it's the truth. Jade West is a great author.
Highly recommend for anyone who likes a kinky read, with a bit of obsession, and an interesting love story.

March 2, 2022I am so disappointed in this book, I gave it one star because I was invested in this couple, I had spent my time reading this book only to have it ruined by two parts in the whole book and I don't see how these two parts added anything good to the story whatsoever. I am not even going to bother saying what I liked because it still angers me that even the ending which I was so happy about was ruined with the last few sentences. There was no added benefit to get Dean involved in their sex life, I hated it but I even overlooked the one time and decided to keep reading, but in the end when they are a family and Dean is still part of their sex life at times, it ruined the whole thing, why could you not allow them to be monogamous, to actually live a happy life without having to add another person into the mix? I am so angry that my time was wasted, my feelings invested for nothing. Others might not mind that Alex gets the occasional man piece on the side but for me it is not a book I would ever read again.
