Hisui is a supporting character in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. He is the only son of Miroku and Sango, and the younger brother of Kin'u & Gyokuto.
He is voiced by Takehiro Urao in the Japanese version and Aleks Le in the English version.
Appearance[]
He had brown hair in the ponytail and indigo for eye colors. He also resemblance his father, Miroku.
Biography[]
He first appears at the end of The Final Act as a baby after three years Kagome return to feudal era.
Years later, he has taken up demon slaying and inherited Hiraikotsu from his mother. Hisui, Kohaku and Setsuna corner Moroha, mistake her for a demon that is attacking the locals, until the demon appears and steals the Rainbow Pearls in Moroha and Setsuna's possession.
Personality[]
Hisui very much takes after his mother Sango in compassion for others and dedication to being a demon slayer. He always carries himself with an air of professionalism and comradory. While not as asute as Miroku, Hisui is a combat pragmatist who takes advantages when he sees them. He does not like being around his sisters, as they tease him relentlessly.
The person Hisui that looks up and respects most is his uncle Kohaku, believing there should be some way to pay him back for all he's done to help; it was with Kohaku's encouragement that Hisui found the path in life he wanted. In this way, he shows some of Miroku's greed, as Hisui once took a job for a prestigious reward that was biting off that he could handle.
A trait he shares with both his parents is the inability to confess love for his comrade; Hisui is in love with Setsuna, whom has been his fellow demon slayer for years. His devotion to her has only been noticdd by his family, with Hisui embarrassed. Its why he finds lady Chiyo's infatuation with him so aggravating; she's a nuisance who is a threat to both him and Setsuna if they ever mildly offend her.
