Synopsis[]

The Great Leader, overlord of Destron, arrives in Japan. When V3 and Riderman go after him, they fall into a trap. Meanwhile, Destron mutant Thorned-Starfish puts into action his plan to annihilate Tokyo. In the grip of suffocation, V3 and Riderman are saved when Tachibana Tobee comes to their aid. V3 and Riderman fight Thorned-Starfish, but when V3 turns to take on the Destron Leader, Riderman suddenly takes a stand to defend him.

• This episode aired on NET alongside episode 35 of Kikaider 01, Long-sleeved Daughter Bijinder: The Scrolling Picture of the Underworld.
• Strangely, when V3 and Riderman fell into a trap by Destron, both were completely helpless without Tobee's assistance, despite having several immediate means to escape the room.
  • Had Riderman simply used Power Arm from the beginning, there would have been no need to rely on Drill Arm, given its lack of batteries.
  • Alternatively, V3 could have flown out of the room when he had the chance, or destroyed the walls with brute force.
    • Furthermore, even without oxygen, V3 could have just used his remaining strength to create a hole on the otherside.
• Though this episode established V3 as completely helpless without oxygen, later sequels ignore this detail, to the extent of being able to survive in outer space.
• As anyone versed in Morse code would know, V3, Riderman and Tobee's use of morse in this episode is entirely fictional.
