The Henshin Gun Valenbuster (変身銃ヴァレンバスター, Henshin Jū Varenbasutā) is the transformation device and main weapon used by Kamen Rider Valen.[1]
Overview[]
The Valenbuster is a weapon created by Kenzo Suga as a means to combat the Granute. The design is based on two Gochizo, which are Chocodan and Chocodon, with Chocodon serving as the main Gochizo used for transformation, while Chocodan is presumably sacrificed by Kenzo as the baseline for the Valenbuster.
It has the ability to extract special abilities from the Gochizo, allowing it to incorporate those abilities into transformations and perform various attacks. This, together with the Granute organ implanted in Hanto, constitutes a transformation system that gives humans superhuman powers.
In order for Hanto to be able to use Valenbuster as a transformation device, he need to be implanted with a Granute organ, as normal humans cannot handle the Gochizo power.
Design[]
The Valenbuster is composed of the following parts:
- Buster Point (バスターポイント, Basutā Pointo): The muzzle. It fires light bullets that utilize electromagnetic energy.
- Crack Jacky (クラックジャッキ, Kurakku Jakki): The starting lever. By applying high pressure through a pressurization mechanism using a lever, the Gochizo is put in a ready state for the extraction of its special abilities. Further opening and closing of the device will also provide electrical stimulation to the Gochizo, which will put it in a ready state to launch special moves that utilize its special abilities.
- Setter Coffin (セッターコフィン, Settā Kofin): The extraction pedestal for the Gochizo. It secures the set Gochizo firmly in place.
- Abextractor (アブエクストラクター, Abuekusutorakutā): The special ability extraction device. It extracts the special abilities of Shoma's Gochizo and converts them into special energy.
- Buster Grasp (バスターグラスプ, Basutā Gurasupu): The handle. It transmits information, including the Gochizo's power, through the hand of Kamen Rider Valen, who holds it.
- Traction Trigger (トラクショントリガー, Torakushon Torigā): The trigger. Pulling the trigger executes the transformation and also serves as the starting point for various attacks.
Functionality[]
Transformation[]
To transform into Kamen Rider Valen, Hanto opens the Crack Jacky of his Valenbuster and then inserts a Chocodon Gochizo onto the Setter Coffin before closing the Crack Jacky, transforming Chocodon that's set. Hanto finally presses the Traction Trigger which transformed the ground into melted chocolate construct that covers Hanto's body and forms the Nache Body. Two energy constructs of chocolate bars then appear from the melted chocolate, before the packaging open and reveal the foil wrapped chocolate bars which quickly forms the armor, although it will also be wrapped in foil. Finally, Hanto rips the foil off his armor by force, completing his transformation into Kamen Rider Valen.
Finisher[]
To initiate a Finisher, Valen need to open the Crack Jacky before closing them and presses the Traction Trigger once more.

- The Valenbuster only has transformation announcements for the Gochizo that can access forms for either Gavv or Valen (i.e. Poppingummy, Zakuzakuchips, Chocodan). Using assist Gochizo will instead skip to the finisher announcement.
- All of the transformation announcements for Choco Gochizo use the onomatopoeia "pakipaki", whereas other Gochizo types are the same as Gavv's.
- Chocodon and Doumaru are the only two Gochizo that have unique transformation sounds. All other standard Gochizo utilize the same sound.
