Cashapult is a 2-vs-2 minigame in Mario Party 6, later returning in Mario Party Superstars.

Layout[]

The minigame takes place in a series of clouds, and the background shows a series of acting as a bridge between the cloud platforms. The highest cloud platform in the background has a castle on it. In Mario Party 6, depending on the board's time of day, Cashapult can take place during the daytime, in which a clear, light blue sky is shown, or during the nighttime, which instead shows a starry sky. In Mario Party Superstars, Cashapult is always shown taking place during the daytime.

Gameplay[]

Given that Cashapult involves collecting Coins, it does not feature any direct winning or losing criteria. The objective for both characters on each team is to try and collect every Coin found in the sky. Each character is launched from the catapult individually, one after the other, and have only one chance to try and collect up to all twenty coins in the sky. After this, the minigame ends.

Ending[]

Every character performs their victory animation unless a team has not collected any coins, in which case both characters on said team perform their losing animation.
