Short Fuse is a Battle minigame which appears in Mario Party DS.

Opening[]

A bomb bearing a red emblem of Bowser falls down onto the ground. Whoever goes first jumps down next to the bomb's fuse, followed by the minigame starting.

Gameplay[]

Each character has to take a three-second turn gradually blowing at the bomb fuse. After the last character in line takes their turn, the cycle repeats. The bomb is eventually set off by whoever blew out the entire fuse, blasting that character away and eliminating them from the minigame. The bomb automatically explodes if a character does not blow on it at all. After the bomb explodes, another one appears in its place. The minigame ends when there is only one character left, and they are ranked the winner.
