Synopsis for "The Night They Rode Old Dixie Down!"
Reno's search for Rachel continues to an an illegal slave plantation in River City where Kid Cassidy hatches a plan to get him inside. Kid makes it look as if Reno is a criminal and speaks to the men of a man referred to as Colonel Johnson and they break him out of prison in order to "sell" him to the Colonel.
Once at the plantation Reno stages a revolt with the slaves while Kid confronts the Colonel during their "sales meeting" putting an end to any retaliation the plantation would have. Victorious the slaves take their vengeance on the Colonel while Kid relays the information he gathered about Rachel during the meeting. It turns out she was his special maid and was taken during an indian raid. Although the slaves wanted Reno to stay behind and lead them to a free life he decided his mission was and continues to be to save Rachel and that as free men they need to make their own way in life and that it makes him proud for them to do so.
