History

After Scott was released from prison, Luis offered him a gig with some friends of his. Scott initially declines the offer, but after being fired from his new job, he accepts it. Scott attempts to steal a suit from Hank Pym, the former Ant-Man's house. When he tries on the suit, he unexpectedly shrinks in size. Hank finds out about this, and tells Scott and Luis about Darren Cross, who wants to make Yellowjacket suits with the tech in the Ant-Man suit. They travel to Pym Technologies to steal something, and Hank's daughter Hope helps them get into the security systems. They confront Darren Cross who puts on the Yellowjacket suit, and battles Scott. Cross escapes and goes to Scott's former wife Maggie's house, where he holds Scott's daughter Cassie hostage. Ant-Man arrives in Cassie's bedroom and him and Yellowjacket fight on a toy train. Scott is eventually able to defeat Yellowjacket and reunites with his daughter.[3]

Ultron's Return[]

When Ultron somehow returns after seemingly being killed by Vision, Ant-Man is called in by the Avengers to help defeat Yellowjacket who was ordered by Ultron to hack into Iron Man's armor. Ultron heads to Avengers Tower, and the heroes face him. Ant-Man climbs into Ultron's neck and pulls some cords loose, which makes him explode.[4]

Egghead and the A.I. Vengers[]

While trying to find the classic Ant-Man costume helmet, Ant-Man and Hope (now The Wasp) stumble upon an old disused research lab where Egghead is holding Giant-Man captive to create the A.I. Vengers - Robotic versions of the Avengers. They're able to free Giant-Man and shut down the main computer creating the A.I. Vengers. Eggman is upset by this and uses his chicken mech to try and destroy the heroes, but they are able to defeat him by going inside of the mech and overpowering it. Ant-Man and the The Wasp then claim the classic Ant-Man helmet.[1]

Death[]

At some unknown point, Scott would eventually be killed in combat. His death would inspire his daughter to become the hero Stinger.[1] He would later be resurrected.[2]

Time Twisted[]

While he was buying donuts for the Avengers, he realizes that his Van has been stolen, so he and the Avengers begin tracking her. After a while, they discover that van is on an island, so Scott goes there and watches everything hidden, discovering that she was being used by Thanos to travel back in time and bring in villains from the past. So they all go there and battle the Villains, with Scott shrinking them thereby defeating them.[2]
