- This team-up is most likely an homage to the end of the Space Sheriff Trilogy ending when Gavan, Sharivan and Shaider transformed together.
- Konami's Gradius' start sound is heard when The and Boys get out of the hot spring completely naked.
- Due to Rintaro Torii travel to France to start his studies, he couldn't return to voice Gungibson. Then in this episode and the following, Gungibson is voiced by Dai Matsumoto.
