The Volkswagen Touareg is an SUV produced by Volkswagen since 2002. It entered its second generation in 2010.[1]

Currently,[when?] the car is produced at the Volkswagen plant in Bratislava (and earlier in Kaluga). Touareg became the third SUV in the history of the brand after Volkswagen Tour 82 (Kübelwagen) and Volkswagen Iltis.

The Touareg is available with 6-, 8- and 12-cylinder petrol engines and 5-, 6- and 10-cylinder diesel engines.

The body of the Touareg were also used for the Audi Q7 and the Porsche Cayenne.
