Natalia's husband, a talented shoemaker. For 20 years, he's fussed over every instep and insole. Not too long ago, Ciccio heard about wondrous shoes that turn their wearer into a speed demon, and would give anything for a peek at them.

Ciccio (チッチョ Chitcho?) is a character that appears in Sonic Unleashed. He is a human resident of Spagonia and a skilled shoemaker. He is also the husband of Natalia and the father of Elio and Lucia.

History[]

Xbox 360/PlayStation 3[]

During Natalia's modeling days, Ciccio was one of the many suitors that fell in love with her. Despite her ability to turn many heads, Ciccio somehow managed to win her over. He later proposed to Natalia with a lovely blend of flowers, and she accepted his proposal. Ciccio and Natalia later got married and had two children; first a boy they named Elio and later a daughter they named Lucia.

As they years passed, Natalia began to gain weight, but Ciccio continued to love his wife without doubt. At some point in his life, Ciccio became a shoemaker and a skilled one at that too, though he was very fussy about his work. He would later come to know Professor Pickle well, who became a regular customer at his shop.

During the events of Sonic Unleashed, Ciccio was one of the many people that had heard of Professor Pickle's kidnapping. Sometime after the kidnapping however, Ciccio heard from his customers that Professor Pickle had been rescued by Sonic the Hedgehog, Chip and Tails, and was glad to hear it. He later met Sonic and Chip, and expressed his gratitude to them for bringing Professor Pickle back.

Not long after however, Ciccio began to notice that Elio had been going out for mysterious walks late in the evening. This behavior made Ciccio very concerned about Elio's whereabouts and what he was doing. Eventually, he would worry about Elio all day long. He later met Sonic and asked him to look for Elio on his behalf. After Sonic accepted Ciccio's request, he thanked Sonic and told him that he appreciated it. After Sonic found Elio, Ciccio asked Sonic if Elio had anything to say for himself, but is disappointed to hear that Elio did not say anything. During the following days, Ciccio started to notice that Lucia was acting strange as well; she had now begun to steal Natalia's food, which was strange, since Lucia did not eat much, and made Natalia chase after her.

Eventually, Ciccio's worries was put to rest when he met up with Sonic and learned from him that his children had been planning for his wife's birthday, now understanding their strange behavior. Ciccio had also noticed that Natalia had been in a very bad mood lately due to their children's antics. Ciccio therefore asked Sonic to get some oranges for Natalia, which she has loved since her modeling days, so he could get her in a better mood. After Sonic returned with the oranges, Ciccio believed these would cheer her up. However, Ciccio realized soon after that by giving Natalia these oranges, it would make Lucia's effort be for nothing. Nevertheless, Ciccio told Sonic that the oranges would be enough.

As his wife's birthday approached, Ciccio noticed that Elio was having trouble and wondered why. Not long after, he learned from Sonic about his children's amazing birthday gifts, and started to think about how quickly his kids seem to grow up. Ciccio however, did not want to his children to outdo him, and he wanted to give Natalia a gift as well. He therefore ordered a bouquet from Milos in Apotos, but he could not pick it up himself as he was swamped with work. As such, he asked Sonic to pick it up for him. Sonic soon after came back with the bouquet, and Ciccio thanked Sonic for the trouble. He was likewise pleasantly surprised to see that it was the same bouquet he had used to propose to his wife years ago. Despite having his gift ready however, Ciccio continued to wonder about his kids' gift.

At the night of his wife's birthday, Ciccio was ready give Natalia his gift. He was told by his kids to wait for them at Restaurant Swa, where they had planned to hold Natalia's birthday. Not long after, Natalia arrived, and together with his family, Ciccio celebrated his wife's birthday. During the party, Ciccio admitted to Sonic that he had never thought that his children would do so much and that he thought this was Natalia's best birthday ever. During the following day, Ciccio thanked Sonic for all his help and said that "there is nothing like family".

Ciccio later watched on in horror with the rest of her town, as Dark Gaia began to cast the world into darkness while maturing into Perfect Dark Gaia, but rejoiced as the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat at the hands of Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus.

Wii/PlayStation 2[]

Ciccio never made an in-game appearance on the Wii/PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed. He did, however, appear during the pre-rendered cutscenes in which he and the rest of Spagonia watched in horror as Dark Gaia began to cast the world maturing into Perfect Dark Gaia in the process into darkness, but rejoiced as the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat at the hands of Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus.

Personality[]

Ciccio is very fussy about every detail of his work. He also is a true family man who cares deeply for each member of his family.
