Ultraman X (ウルトラマンエックス, Urutoraman Ekkusu) is an Ultra not simply made of light, but of data, Ultraman X was trapped on Earth after the events that caused the Ultra Flare, an event that animated the sealed Spark Dolls all over Earth. Together with his allies in XIO and his host Daichi Oozora, X aims to not simply protect Earth, but coexist along the kaiju he often has to contend against.[1] While not in the transformed state, he resides within the X Devizer, communicating with Daichi over time.

- X has the following abilities
- Xanadium Beam (ザナディウム光線, Zanadiumu Kōsen): Ultraman X's signature finishing move. By swinging his arms and left leg to his left and lunging back to face forward, with his arms crossed to resemble the shape of an "X", Ultraman X fires a blue Ray of energy from his arms. This ray usually destroys opponents in one strike, and transforms their remains into Spark Dolls. In some cases, his color timer will glow yellow prior to it being fired.
- X Slash (Xスラッシュ, Ekkusu Surasshu): Ultraman X can create and launch an energy arrow as an attack.
- X Double Slash (Xダブルスラッシュ, Ekkusu Daburu Surasshu): Another variation of this attack where two are launches simultaneously.
- Attacker X (アタッカーＸ, Atakkā Ekkusu): Ultraman X can ignite his body in flames and launch that generated flames as an X-shaped projectile.
- Purify Wave (ピュリファイウェーブ, Pyurifai Uēbu): Ultraman X can generate a beam of purification to both cure illnesses as well as quell evil spirits from arising.
- X Barrier Wall (Xバリアウォール, Ekkusu Baria Uōru): Ultraman X can create an energy barrier to protect himself from certain energy attacks.
- X Barrier Dome (Xバリアドーム, Ekkusu Baria Dōmu): Ultraman X creates barrier that unfolds in the shape of a dome to protect his surroundings.
- Ultraman X Chop (ウルトラマンXチョップ, Urutoraman Ekkusu Choppu):
- Ultraman X Punch (ウルトラマンXパンチ, Urutoraman Ekkusu Panchi): By focusing all of the energy in his body into his hands, Ultraman X can strike opponents with a much more powerful punch than average.
- Ultraman X Kick (ウルトラマンXキック, Urutoraman Ekkusu Kikku): By focusing all of the energy in his body into his feet, Ultraman X can strike opponents with a much more powerful punch of kick than average.
- X Cross Kick (Xクロスキック, Ekkusu Kurosu Kikku): A flying kick that uses X's momentum hit the opponent, causing an X shaped explosion
- X Cross Chop (Xクロスチョップ, Ekkusu Kurosu Choppu): Ultraman X gathers energy into his right hand and chops an X-shape into the enemy, causing an X-shaped explosion
- MonsArmor (モンスアーマー, Monsuāmā): Ultraman X receives armors of various Cyber Monsters by scanning their Cyber Card.

Gomora Armor (ゴモラアーマー, Gomora Āmā) is the MonsArmor Ultraman X receives with with Cyber Gomora's card. It is capable of resisting certain physical assaults and possesses abilities exclusive to X whenever he wears it.

- Gomora Oscillatory Wave (ゴモラ振動波, Gomora Shindō-ha): Gomora Armor can fire a Blue Energy Ray from his Claws. Even upon striking an opponent, the Claws can cause damage to anyone it comes into contact with them.
- Barrier: The forearms on the Gomora Armor are very dense and can act as a barrier to certain attacks.

Notes[]
- X is notable for merging with a device rather than with a host, with X and Daichi "uniting" in their transformation.
- Ultraman X did not originally belong to the World Where the Ultra Flare Occurred.[3] This has since been retconned to have X's place of origin to be within the same universe.[4]
