Ultra

The Ultras (ウルトラ, Urutora), also known as Ultra Warriors (ウルトラ戦士, Urutora Senshi) or Ultra Heroes (ウルトラヒーロー, Urutora Hīrō), are Giants of Light that star as the main heroes of the Ultra Series.

Body Features[]

Color Timer (カラータイマー, Karā Taimā): An energy barometer attached to the chest of Ultras and connected to the Ultra Heart, their source of life.
Beam Lamp (ビームランプ, Bīmu Ranpu): A natural organ on some Ultras that they use to fire beams. The Beam Lamp goes off when activity time runs low. Ultras of other dimensions have similar forehead crystals but function slightly different.
Ultra Eye (ウルトラアイ, Urutora Ai): Their shining eyes can used to fire eye beams such as the Fluoroscope Beam and Ultra Eye Spot.^[1] Most Ultras have yellow colored eyes of various shades, though there are some who have blue, red, or white eyes instead.
Ultra Ear (ウルトライヤー, Urutora Iyā): They can hear even the slightest sound from far away. Conversely, loud noises can be saved.^[1]
Ultra Skin (ウルトラスキン, Urutora Sukin): The skin of Ultra's that provides protection from damage. It has been shown to be tough enough to withstand atomic blasts. Ultraman's skin is unique for being thicker and less susceptible to electric shocks and impacts, unlike any of his contemporaries.^[1]
Ultra Arm (ウルトラアーム, Urutora Āmu): Immensely strong arms made up of powerful muscles and strong bones.^[1]
Ultra Foot (ウルトラフット, Urutora Futto): Strong legs that support their weight and ability to jump great heights.^[1]

Abilities[]

Assimilation: The Ultras are able to merge with other lifeforms to heal them. In doing so, they are able to stay in environments that do not provide them with enough energy for longer duration.
Human form: Ultras are able to take up a human form of any appearance. Some Ultras are born humanoid or were originally humanoid before becoming an Ultra.

Weaknesses[]

Time Limit: Most Ultra have an activity time limit on Earth of approximately three minutes.
