Bradorart
Are you a hunter? Well, that's very odd. Do you hear the toll of the bell? The beasts you seek will not be found here. Go back to your hunt, and if you have the chance, put this night behind you... places better left untouched, secrets better left alone...only a fool would so brazenly roam...Fear the bell's toll. For only death awaits prying eyes, and the Church assassins are never far behind.

Summary

Brador is a Healing Church Assassin known as the “beast-hide assassin” trapped within the Hunter’s Nightmare. He was once a foreigner who came to Yharnam and joined the Hunt, becoming a Hunter for the Church. But when one of his compatriots transformed into a Cleric Beast, he was forced to kill them.

Doing so appears to have driven him to madness; and afterwards, he skinned his ally’s scalp and hide and wore the scalp as a testimony to what he had seen and done. When he brought this testimony to the Healing Church they provided him with a single soundless bell of death and tasked him with ensuring their secrets would be kept. Brador hid himself away in a cell below the Healing Church Research Hall and assumed his role as a Church Assassin. From his cell he rung his bell, keen to the intrusions of curious hunters.

Standard Equipment:
  • Bloodletter: The demented hunter weapon brandished by Brador, the Healing Church assassin. The Bloodletter assumes its true and terrifying form after it draws upon blood from the inner reaches of one's body and soul. This is the only effective means of expelling gained blood, or so Brador, isolated in his cell, continued to believe.
  • Ludwig's Rifle: A rifle typically used by Healing Church hunters. It is said that this rifle was employed by Ludwig, the first hunter of the Church. Its long, heavy barrel makes up in range for what it lacks in reload speed.
  • Blood Vial: Special blood used in ministration. Restores HP.
  • Lead Elixir: A heavy, syrupy liquid medicine. Temporarily shifts weight to make deflection of attacks easier, but must be used with care, as it also slows movement. Its recipe for this mysterious concoction is unknown, but some postulate that it materializes only within the most desperate nightmares. Cuts incoming damage from all sources in half, and causes weaker physical attacks to bounce off the user with minimal damage.
  • Sinister Resonant Bell: A blood-stained bell discovered in the old underground labyrinth. One of the resonating bells that cross the gaps of worlds, but this one knells for misfortune and malice. The Sinister Bell is an object of dark thoughts. Ring it to become the enemy of a hunter in another world.
  • Brador's Set: A Foreign Set covered with the bloodied hide of a horrible cleric beast, indicating that hunter Brador, a Healing Church assassin, had killed a compatriot. This set boasts the highest Beasthood of all armor sets.

Intelligence: Above Average

Weaknesses: None notable

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Rally: A core mechanic of a hunter's fighting style, the ability to heal for part or all of the damage taken from a recent attack by retaliating with their own attacks. This allows a hunter to use an offense-centric, high risk/high reward style of combat, giving them the ability to sustain themselves by constantly attacking and counterattacking the enemy. However, this ability requires the opponent to be biological in some manner, as it is done in part by 'bathing in the opponent's blood' and does not work on inanimate targets or spirits[4].
  • Visceral Attack: A unique and brutal technique in a hunter's fighting style, using a firearm or projectile Hunter Tool such as the Blackskye Eye or Augur of Ebrietas to parry an incoming attack, The Hunter briefly staggers the opponent, leaving them open for The Hunter to drive their hand into the opponent's torso or skull and tear out large chunks of their organs, dealing a large amount of damage. This can also be used on an unsuspecting enemy, hitting them with a fully charged heavy melee attack to stagger them in the same way[6].
  • Blood Bullets: A technique used by hunters as a means of conserving or creating ammunition for firearms in place of Quicksilver Bullets. Using their own blood as a substitute, a hunter is able to create a seemingly limitless number of Blood Bullets so long as their vitality holds out.[2]

Inconclusive:

  1. Visceral Attacks
  2. 2.0 2.1 Blood Bullets
  3. Blood Echoes

  5. Blue Elixir - Dubious liquid medicine used in strange experiments conducted by high ministers of the Healing Church. A type of anesthetic that numbs the brain. Hunters, able to retain consciousness by force of will, make use of a secondary effect of the medicine, which dilutes their presence while standing still.
  6. Visceral Attacks
