“ | Are you a hunter? Well, that's very odd. Do you hear the toll of the bell? The beasts you seek will not be found here. Go back to your hunt, and if you have the chance, put this night behind you... places better left untouched, secrets better left alone...only a fool would so brazenly roam...Fear the bell's toll. For only death awaits prying eyes, and the Church assassins are never far behind. | „ |
Summary
Brador is a Healing Church Assassin known as the “beast-hide assassin” trapped within the Hunter’s Nightmare. He was once a foreigner who came to Yharnam and joined the Hunt, becoming a Hunter for the Church. But when one of his compatriots transformed into a Cleric Beast, he was forced to kill them.
Doing so appears to have driven him to madness; and afterwards, he skinned his ally’s scalp and hide and wore the scalp as a testimony to what he had seen and done. When he brought this testimony to the Healing Church they provided him with a single soundless bell of death and tasked him with ensuring their secrets would be kept. Brador hid himself away in a cell below the Healing Church Research Hall and assumed his role as a Church Assassin. From his cell he rung his bell, keen to the intrusions of curious hunters.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Rally: A core mechanic of a hunter's fighting style, the ability to heal for part or all of the damage taken from a recent attack by retaliating with their own attacks. This allows a hunter to use an offense-centric, high risk/high reward style of combat, giving them the ability to sustain themselves by constantly attacking and counterattacking the enemy. However, this ability requires the opponent to be biological in some manner, as it is done in part by 'bathing in the opponent's blood' and does not work on inanimate targets or spirits[4].
- Visceral Attack: A unique and brutal technique in a hunter's fighting style, using a firearm or projectile Hunter Tool such as the Blackskye Eye or Augur of Ebrietas to parry an incoming attack, The Hunter briefly staggers the opponent, leaving them open for The Hunter to drive their hand into the opponent's torso or skull and tear out large chunks of their organs, dealing a large amount of damage. This can also be used on an unsuspecting enemy, hitting them with a fully charged heavy melee attack to stagger them in the same way[6].
- Blood Bullets: A technique used by hunters as a means of conserving or creating ammunition for firearms in place of Quicksilver Bullets. Using their own blood as a substitute, a hunter is able to create a seemingly limitless number of Blood Bullets so long as their vitality holds out.[2]
