Introduction

Within a sandbox, members can freely explore character profiles, develop code, create an explanatory page, or engage in any desired experimentation without the risk of unwarranted edits to existing pages or violating regulations.

Various methods exist for establishing a sandbox, and in the following section, we will present two of them for consideration.

Guide #1

Step 1: Go to your user profile or navigate to the homepage and locate your profile picture in the lower-left corner. Subsequently, select the option labeled “View Profile."

Step 2:

  • On the URL, type /Sandbox or any term after your username, as shown below.

Note: It is essential to underline that there is no strict requirement to use the term “Sandbox” (an arbitrary common one to use); any suitable name may suffice.

Step 3: To initiate the page creation process, kindly press the Enter key. Subsequently, upon reaching the Sandbox page, proceed by selecting the edit button to commence crafting your desired page within the sandbox environment.

Step 4: Once your page is complete, go to the source editor (preferably), copy the source code, and then you can paste it into a new page and publish it on the Wiki.

Notes

  • You are welcome to create multiple sandboxes as per your preference, with the sole requirement of assigning a distinct title to each one, such as /Sandbox1, /Sandbox2, and so forth.
  • Kindly note that adding anything else that interfaces/disturbs other matters/elements of the wiki and/or forum within the sandbox is not allowed, including categories.
    • This is not restricted to the inclusion of tier templates, which have been implemented to automatically add tier categories on pages.
  • In addition, on our forum page, we offer a sandbox feature located at the top, which adheres to the same concept. This allows users to compose and organize their notes or threads prior to their official publication.
