Imposter iosefka
Oh, hello. You made it. Find any survivors? Or only beasts? Tell anyone who's human about Iosefka's Clinic. I will take proper care of them. They're in your hands, and soon, mine....
~ Imposter Iosefka

Summary

Imposter Iosefka is an imposter who replaces the real Iosefka in the evening after The Hunter enters the Oedon Chapel for the first time. Though her origins and affiliations are a mystery she is a fanatical mad doctor in the classic sense - she'll initially ask the Hunter to send refugees to the clinic on the pretense of providing them with legitimate medical treatment. However, her true intentions are to experiment on those who take refuge in her clinic as a means of continuing the work of the Choir.

Powers and Stats

Tier: High 6-C

Name: Imposter Iosefka

Origin: Bloodborne

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown

Classification: Human, Hunter, Member of the Church of Mensis, Mad Healing Church Doctor

Powers and Abilities:

Attack Potency: Large Island level+ (Possesses both A Call Beyond, which is this powerful, as well as the Augur of Ebrietas, which summons part of Ebrietas as an attack. Capable of casually overpowering the Suspicious Beggar)

Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic, likely higher Combat Speed and Reactions

Lifting Strength: At least Class M (Superior to Father Gascoigne and the Abhorrent Beast)

Striking Strength: Large Island level+

Durability: Large Island level+ (Capable of taking numerous attacks from the Hunter)

Stamina: Superhuman (All hunters are able to continue fighting even after sustaining injuries such as being stabbed, slashed, crushed, shot, poisoned, electrocuted, burned, and impaled.)

Range: Extended Melee Range with Threaded Cane, Tens of Meters with Repeating Pistol, A Call Beyond, and Augur of Ebrietas

Standard Equipment:
  • Threaded Cane: One of the trick weapons of the workshop, commonly used by hunters on their duties. Sufficiently deadly as a rigid bladed cane, but also serves as a whip when its blade is split into many. Concealing the weapon inside the cane and flogging the beasts with the whip is partly an act of ceremony, an attempt to demonstrate to oneself that the bloodlust of the hunt will never encroach upon their soul.
  • Repeating Pistol: A repeating pistol typically used by Healing Church hunters. Crafted with mostly metal parts and exhibiting a complex design, the repeating pistol fires two shots at once, making it a ravenous consume of Quicksilver Bullets. Should be used sparingly compared to its workshop counterpart, as the trump card in one's arsenal.
  • Blood Vial: Special blood used in ministration. Restores HP.
  • Numbing Mist: Throw to create a mist cloud that numbs a hunter's life essence and prevents restoration of HP. Said to be used by the blood hunters of Cainhurst, its recipe is a secret closely guarded by the line of nobles inhabiting the castle.
  • A Call Beyond: Originally intended to be a breach into the Cosmos and let the Choir commune with the Great Ones on their "Star-World", the rite failed and led to the accidental small explosion of a star when used instead. The rite allows one to breach the Cosmos, cause the destruction of a star, and use the energy from its destruction in a weaponized Arcane projectile form.
  • Augur of Ebrietas: A remnant of the eldritch Truth encountered at Byrgenwerth. Use phantasms, the invertebrates known to be augurs of the Great Ones, to partially summon abandoned Ebrietas. The initial encounter marked the start of an inquiry into the cosmos from within the old labyrinth, and led to the establishment of the Choir.
  • White Church Set: Attire of special Church doctors. These doctors are superiors to the black preventative hunters, and specialists in experimentally-backed blood ministration and the scourge of the beast. The intricate embroidery of the Surgical Long Gloves weaves a spell that protects their wearer. This set boasts the highest Slow Poison resistance of all armor sets.

Intelligence: High (Able to transform humans into Celestial Minions, holds extensive knowledge of the arcane and Great Ones given her use of A Call Beyond and the Auger of Ebrietas)

Weaknesses: None notable

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Rally: A core mechanic of a hunter's fighting style, the ability to heal for part or all of the damage taken from a recent attack by retaliating with their own attacks. This allows a hunter to use an offense-centric, high risk/high reward style of combat, giving them the ability to sustain themselves by constantly attacking and counterattacking the enemy. However, this ability requires the opponent to be biological in some manner, as it is done in part by 'bathing in the opponent's blood' and does not work on inanimate targets or spirits[4].
  • Visceral Attack: A unique and brutal technique in a hunter's fighting style, using a firearm or projectile Hunter Tool such as the Blackskye Eye or Augur of Ebrietas to parry an incoming attack, The Hunter briefly staggers the opponent, leaving them open for The Hunter to drive their hand into the opponent's torso or skull and tear out large chunks of their organs, dealing a large amount of damage. This can also be used on an unsuspecting enemy, hitting them with a fully charged heavy melee attack to stagger them in the same way[6].
  • Blood Bullets: A technique used by hunters as a means of conserving or creating ammunition for firearms in place of Quicksilver Bullets. Using their own blood as a substitute, a hunter is able to create a seemingly limitless number of Blood Bullets so long as their vitality holds out[2].

  5. Blue Elixir - Dubious liquid medicine used in strange experiments conducted by high ministers of the Healing Church. A type of anesthetic that numbs the brain. 6. Visceral Attacks
