Summary

Naobito Zenin (禪ぜん院いん 直なお毘び人と, Zen'in Naobito^?) is the 26th head of the Zen'in clan, renowned for being the fastest Jujutsu Sorcerer, besides Gojo, thanks to his Cursed Technique.

During the Shibuya Incident, he was assigned to the Zenin team alongside Maki and Nobara but was joined up by Nanami before heading into Shibuya Station. On the way there through the Inokashira Line, they ran into the Disaster Curse Dagon. Before Maki or Nanami could exorcise it, Naobito froze it with his Projection Sorcerery and struck it down. After Dagon metamorphosised, the three engaged in a fierce battle and were caught inside its Domain Expansion until Megumi expanded his own Domain cancelling the sure-hit effect and allowing them to retaliate. The hole that was opened in the Domain's barrier allowed Toji to enter and fight Dagon with Naobito striking it down again for Toji to finish it off. Once the curse was exorcised, Toji set his eyes on the next strongest around, Megumi, and dragged him outside. Right afterward, Jogo entered the scene to avenge Dagon's death. Naobito was able to dodge Jogo's initial dash but losing an arm inside Dagon's Domain compromised him, resulting in Jogo severely burning him with two volcanic blasts.

He succumbed to his wounds a few days after the Shibuya Incident. In his will was a clause that passed down his title as the head of the Zen'in clan to Megumi Fushiguro in the event that Satoru Gojo had died or was incapacitated causing his son, Naoya and the other members of the Zenin clan to plot against Megumi.

Attack Potency: At least City Block level+ (Is a Special Grade 1 Sorcerer, meaning he is considered to be on the level of a Grade 1 sorcerer, and should be stronger than Grade 1 Curses.^[5] Grade 1 is the minimum grade a sorcerer must be to defeat a Special Grade Curse.^[6] Easily took down^[7] Cursed Womb Dagon and continued to pressure Dagon's Cursed Spirit state by punching through his water shield - which not even Nanami in Overtime was capable of breaking through - dazing him and tearing through his fingers with his strikes^[8] then fighting against his Shikigami in his domain even while injured from having his right arm torn off.^[9][10] Became the head of the Zenin family because of his strength,^[6] so he far surpasses the rest of his clan including the elite sorcerers of the Hei such as Ogi Zenin^{[11][Statistics Values 1]})

Stamina: Superhuman (Despite being torn into by a swarm of shikigami in Dagon's domain for one minute and losing his right arm, he was able to immediately resume fighting Dagon once the guaranteed hit effect of Death Swarm was gone^[9][10])

Intelligence: Combat Genius (Projection Sorcery requires extensive knowledge on framing and timing to be used because the user must divide one second into 24 frames using their field of view and then trace a set of predetermined movements for themselves to follow.^[15] This predetermined path cannot be altered once it is started and neither the trajectory of movement nor laws of physics can be ignored excessively otherwise the user will be frozen in a frame for one second.^[15] Despite the numerous challenges of using this technique, Naobito can effectively wield Projection Sorcery in combat thanks to his natural-born sense of strategic framing and was able to master the technique to the point that he can continuously build speed by maintaining the 1/24 FPS rule over an extended period,^[13] earning him the title of the fastest Jujutsu Sorcerer besides Satoru Gojo)

Weaknesses: Failing to abide by the 1/24 FPS rule or egregiously ignoring the laws of physics and trajectories when setting a predetermined path of movement while Projection Sorcery is active will cause him to freeze in a frame for one second. There is an upper limit to his acceleration at the time of activating Projection Sorcery.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

• Projection Sorcery (投とう射しゃ呪じゅ法ほう, Tōsha Juhō^?): Allows the user to divide one second into twenty-four frames and trace a predetermined set of movements to execute in that second. It uses the user's field of view as the projection angle of view. While Projection Sorcery is active, anything touched by Naobito's palm must abide by the 24FPS as well or they will get frozen for one second inside an animation frame.
• Secret Art: Falling Blossom Emotion (秘ひ伝でん「落らっ花かの情じょう」, Hiden・Rakka no Jō^?): A secret art and an anti-domain technique. In contrast to Simple Domain, which casts its own barrier, Falling Blossom Emotion counters an enemy domain's guaranteed hit with cursed energy the moment it makes contact.
