Last update: 15 November 2021

This page of the Forza Horizon 5 guide describes the two available visual modes in the game on the Xbox Series S / X, namely the quality and performance modes. You will also read about the significant differences between the two modes.

Forza Horizon 5 offers two visual modes on the Xbox Series S / X, namely quality and performance. To change the mode, go to the settings tab, then go to the video tab, and then search for the visual mode.

Quality mode

This mode allows you to play Forza Horizon 5 on the Xbox Series S / X with much better visuals, but the smoothness of the game will suffer. By choosing this mode, the game will become even more beautiful, however, you will have to play at 30 frames per second . If you don't care about smoothness, and you want to enjoy even more beautiful visuals, this mode is definitely for you. A good opportunity to use this mode is free riding in Mexico.

Performance mode

This mode allows you to play Forza Horizon 5 with even greater fluidity (60 frames per second), but with slightly poorer visuals . The difference in graphics, however, is not so big in terms of the gameplay. This mode is worth choosing because of the much better driving experience, as the reaction speed will be much better. Fluency in such games is more important than graphics. Recommended when winning counts, be it online or other game modes.
