How do the difficulty level settings work?

The first option available in the "Difficulty level" tab will allow you to choose one of 4 predefined settings with increasing levels of challenge. These are:

  1. Rookie;
  2. Warrior;
  3. Hero;
  4. Immortal.

However, The Lost Crown offers the option to create your own difficulty level by changing the values and modifying individual gameplay elements. Below we present a list of available options:

  1. Enemy Damage - this bar modifies the amount of damage dealt by enemies;
  2. Enviremental Damage - this bar modifies the amount of damage received from elements of environment such as spinning blades, spikes or poisons;
  3. Enemy Health - this bar modifies the amount of enemy health;
  4. Parry Difficulty - this value determines how difficult it is to perform a successful parry;
  5. Dodge Window - this value defines the duration of invulnerability while dodging;
  6. Athra Depletion Rate - it determines how quickly the special skill bar is consumed;
  7. Athra Gain - it modifies the recharge speed of the special skill bar;
  8. Athra Lose Rate From Damage - this bar affects how quickly you lose your special ability gauge when you take damage.

It is worth noting that each of the settings mentioned can be adjusted independently of the others. Therefore, it is possible to define settings that facilitate or hinder only specific aspects of gameplay.
