List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim TES V: Skyrim Guide

Last update: 29 November 2019

On this page, you will find a trophy guide for the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. We have provided a detailed description of all the achievements available in the main campaign of the game. Each trophy description has information about the conditions to unlock it and our comment on the easiest way to do it.

The most important information about Skyrim's trophies

  1. The main set of achievements of the game consists of 51 trophies - 1 platinum trophy (it can be unlocked only on the PS3 and PS4), 1 gold, 14 silver, and 35 bronze.
  2. All versions of the game have the same achievements. This also includes the Special Edition, which launched on PS4 and XONE, as well as Skyrim VR, developed for PlayStation VR goggles.
  3. Getting all the trophies will probably take you 100 hours or more. To unlock the platinum trophy, you must first complete most of the quests available in the game. Other time-consuming achievements require us to collect 100,000 gold coins and reach character level 50.
  4. The game needs to be completed once, but some trophies can difficult to find and we may miss them. In particular, be careful when completing Daedric quests. In each of these quests, you must obtain a new Daedric artifact. If you've made a wrong decision and lost or missed one of them, we recommended you load an earlier saved game.
  5. You can play at any difficulty level. The easiest way will be to play on easy. This will greatly facilitate, in particular, the large-scale battle sequences or fights with dragons.
  6. Trophies from Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn are not required for platinum. You can ignore them and focus solely on unlocking trophies from the main set (51 trophies).

Hero of the People

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Complete 50 miscellaneous tasks.

Comment: this trophy concerns small quests, that have the word Miscellaneous in the title. You can unlock them in the same way as many full-fledged quests, that is, by communicating with independent characters (random NPCs, important story characters, Guild members, etc.).). They have simple assumptions (for example, delivering a package, killing a specified monster), thanks to which dealing with them should not cause any trouble. Take care of 50 small tasks.

Hard Worker

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: chopping wood, mine ore and cook food.

Comment: all the actions from the description of the achievement related to the theme of crafting. Each type of these activities has been described in detail in our World Atlas on the other types of crafting page.

  1. You can chop wood by visiting one of the sawmills.
  2. You can mine ores by visiting any mine and using a pickaxe.
  3. Food can be prepared in any kitchen.

Complete one action from each group. You don't need to craft any unique items.

Thief

Trophy type: silver - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: open 50 locks and pickpocket 50 people.

Comment: lockpicking and pickpocketing are some of the skills that the main character can develop. We have described them in more detail in the Skills chapter of our World Atlas. There you can learn how to open locks, pick pockets, how to improve skills and what do we get from it. For each skill, invest in attributes that make it easier to open locks and steal.

To unlock the trophy look for easy locks and easy to rob NPCs (eg, sleeping characters).

Snake Tongue

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: successfully use persuasion, bribery, and intimidation.

Comment: the Trophy is for the unique dialogue options that may appear during the encounters with NPCs. They are all related to Speech skill, which you can gradually develop. The skill is described in detail in the Skills section in our guide. You will learn how to improve persuasion, bribery, and intimidation, and what the consequences are.

Only one successful attempt from each of these three groups is enough to get the trophy. It is not necessary to develop Speech very much to convince difficult interlocutors.

Blessed

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Choose a power from 1 of 13 Standing Stones.

Comment: The Standing Stones are secret locations in Skyrim. When you interact with The Standing Stones, you can get an appropriate bonus to stats, such as speeding up your health and stamina regeneration.

This trophy requires you to find only one of the Stones and activate its power. The list of stones can be found in our World Atlas in the Locations list section.

Standing Stones

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Find all 13 Standing Stones.

Comment: this is the development of the trophy described above. In this case, you need to find all thirteen Standing Stones. To get the trophy you only need to discover the location of each of the stones.

Comment: the Main character can buy a house in several places in the game world, the cheapest one is located in Whiterun. After completing the quest and receiving thanks from Jarl Balgruuf, you can talk with the Chamberlain to buy a house. It will cost you several thousand coins, but you can save the game before purchase and load the previous state after unlocking the trophy.

Wanted

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Escape from prison.

Comment: you can go to prison if you are caught committing a crime (theft, murder, etc.) and you voluntarily submit to the punishment after being detained by a guard. Prison break, unfortunately, is not an easy thing to do. The necessary actions are to open the lock in the cell door, find a chest with confiscated items, and add them to your inventory and get to one of the exits (preferably by sneaking). Attention, the game does not allow you to escape from the prison in Markarth (mine).

This achievement is best unlocked later in the game, that is, when you have sufficiently developed the skills of lockpicking and stealth. It'll make things much easier for you. More information on how to go to prison can be found on the Committing crimes page in the Hints section of our guide.

Married

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Marry someone.

Comment: it is not a very difficult trophy, although marrying someone requires quite a lot of preparation:

  1. Visit Temple of Mara in the Riften and meet Maramal. If you can not find the priest in the temple, then walk around the city.
  2. Talk to Maramal about marriage.
  3. You must get an Amulet of Mara, you can purchase it from Maramal or get it by joining The Book of Love quest side.
  4. Put on amulet of Mara.
  5. Now during the conversations with NPCs, the options window for submitting marriage proposals will appear. There will be many such occasions (for example, at the end of a quest from someone), and to unlock the trophy it is enough that only one person agrees.
  6. After someone agrees, return to Maramal and take part in the wedding ceremony.

Artisan

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: forge any item, conjure any item and create any potion.

Comment: the Trophy is associated with crafting and alchemy :

  1. Item forging is described on the Smithing page on World Atlas. You must use a blacksmith's forge.
  2. Item enchanting is described on the Enchanting page in World Atlas. You must use an arcane enchanter.
  3. Making potions is described on the Alchemy page in World Atlas. You must use the alchemical table.

In each of these cases, it is necessary to brew/enchant only one item. It can be the simplest thing, so you do not have to develop the skills of the main character too much.

Master Criminal

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Have a bounty of 1,000 gold on your head in all 9 of Skyrim's holds.

Comment: the holds from the description of the trophy are:

  1. Whiterun
  2. The Pale
  3. Falkreath Hold
  4. Haafingar
  5. Hjaalmarch
  6. Rift
  7. The Reach
  8. Eastmarch
  9. Winterhold

Every time you commit some crime and are noticed, in the upper left corner of the screen you will see information about the increase in the amount of bounty on the head of your character. The fastest way to do this is by killing a hold guard - one kill should be enough in this case. After reaching the required bounty level, at least 1000 gold, moves to another of the nine regions to break the law there. Do it until you're wanted in all holds. Read more about the problems with the law on a separate chapter - Committing crimes.

Golden Touch

Trophy type: silver - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Get 100,000 gold coins.

Comment: unfortunately, this is one of the most difficult achievements of the game. This is due to its duration because you must have all 100,000 gold in your inventory to get the trophy. Skyrim does not give you a lot of gold, and as a result, it is necessary to remember about the requirements of this trophy almost from the beginning of the adventure. Here are some additional tips:

  1. Try not to buy anything from traders or spend gold for any other purpose. If possible, rely on items found in the game world and obtained by completing quests.
  2. Accept as many quest as possible. Many of them are rewarded with gold.
  3. Thoroughly search all discovered locations and look for gold in containers and on plain sight.
  4. Take with you as much loot as possible to sell it to traders.
  5. Develop the skills of lockpicking, stealth, and pickpocketing. This will enable you to rob the inhabitants of the realm more effectively. Many valuable items are located in places that the hero can not "lawfully" plunder.

Delver

Trophy type: silver - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Clear 50 dungeons.

Comment: the dungeons are considered cleared once you:

  1. Kill all enemies / monsters.
  2. Collect all the loot. Unfortunately, the game does not tell you that you have collected 100% of the loot, so carefully search each place and look at all interactive containers.

Use our World Atlas to search for subsequent dungeons. The important information is that you shouldn't search for exceptionally large dungeons. It can also be small locations with few opponents and one or more chests to loot.

Skill Master

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Train any skill to level 100.

Comment: You should be able to unlock this trophy when trying to unlock the platinum. If this did not happen, then after the completion of the game, take an interest in the skills that are closest to level 100. You can develop skills faster by repeating actions associated with it, such as casting subsequent spells (even if it's pointless).

Skill books and skill trainers can also help you level up skills to 100. We have revealed the places where you should search for books and trainers in our World Atlas in the Listings section.

Explorer

Trophy type: silver - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Discover 100 locations.

Comment: it may seem like finding a hundred locations is a big challenge, but it's not really that hard to achieve. Traveling around the world map, you will find many new places. These are not only large cities and villages, but also small sites, such as ruins, stone circles, camps, or dungeons. In our World Atlas, we show all the possible places to discover. In the game there are much more than 100.

Reader

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Read 50 skill books.

Comment: For this trophy, you need to collect and read 50 unique books - each of them you can read only once and thus increase the associated skill. A list of skill books can be found in the Skill books chapter in our World Atlas. Visit the places indicated there and look for suitable books.

Daedric Influence

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: get a Daedric artifact.

Comment: Daedric artifacts can be acquired after completing Daedric quests - a separate category of side quests. We have described all daedric missions in detail in a separate chapter of our guide. For this trophy you can choose any daedric quest.

Important note many daedric quests can be completed in many ways, and some of the actions we can take deprive the hero of opportunities to obtain an artifact - avoid them. We recommend that you create a manual saved game state at the beginning of each new daedric mission and carefully read the walkthrough in our guide. Our guide accurately describes each quest - you will learn what options do you have and what are their consequences.

Oblivion Walker

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: get 15 Daedric artifacts.

Comment: this is a development of the achievement described above. You must complete all available Daedric quests and acquire all Daedric artifacts. If you lost an artifact when completing the quest, load the game and choose another way to complete the quest.

Dragon Soul

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: absorb a Dragon Soul.

Comment: To absorb a dragon soul, you just have to kill a dragon, and if you do not leave the area where it was defeated prematurely, it will be done automatically. This trophy should be obtained when completing the main quest Dragon Rising, which requires you to take down the flying beast that nearly attacked Whiterun. A full walkthrough of the quest can be found in our guide.

Dragon Hunter

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: absorb 20 dragon souls.

Comment: this is a development of the achievement described above. It is best to first focus on doing all the main and major side quests of the game. In some quests, dragons appear that have to/can be killed. The remaining number of dragons can be found, for example, during the free exploration of the game world. After finding a dragon, let it notice the hero and engage the beast.

Words of Power

Trophy type: bronze - List of trophies | The Elder Scrolls Skyrim - Trophy guide - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Learn all three Words of any Dragon shout.

Comment: Every new Dragon shout will be unlocked already studying the first Word of Power associated with it, but to make the shout more powerful we need to unlock all three Word of Power. New Words can be learned by finding large tablets (for example in the image above). We have described the topic in detail on the Dragon shouts page in the Listings chapter of World Atlas. To unlock the trophy, you just need to pick any Dragon shout and unlock the three Words of Power associated with it.

Thu'um Master

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Learn 20 Dragon shouts.

Comment: this is the development of the above trophy. In the Dragon shouts chapter of our guide, we've collected all the available options and places to learn them. Important information, you only need to learn the Dragon shouts. You do not have to learn all three Words of Power associated with them.

Apprentice

Comment: Go to the description of the Master trophy.

Adept

Trophy type: bronze

Expert

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Reach level 25.

Comment: Go to the description of the Master trophy.

Master

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Reach level 50.

Comment: the Main character can gain higher levels of experience by developing their skills. Reaching level 50 will, unfortunately, take a very long time, but there are several ways to make this process less burdensome:

  1. Don't focus solely on a few favorite skills, try to develop all of them. Developing skills at lower levels is faster than those at higher levels.
  2. As often as possible, repeat the actions that develop skills, even if at the moment it is not required. You can, for example, jump a lot, swing the sword a lot, or cast a lot of spells.
  3. Help yourself by discovering skill books as well as skill trainers that will help you level them up faster.

More hints and information about the development of the main character can be found in the Character development chapter of our guide.
