Wonderfully Made by Akwasi O. Ofori
“The book of Genesis shows that God created humanity and gave him life. The unfolding drama is that the male, Adam, and thus, by derivation, the female, was formed from the dust of the ground and given the gift of life through the breath of God.
God gave humans a specific purpose to fulfill. Our first obligation was to procreate. The second was to tend to and eat from the soil.
Unfortunately, the first couple failed the test and thus forfeited the privileges they were privy to. The fall thus limited us as humans in scope and saddled us with the burden of hard labor. The result of the fall is death, just as all other creatures created by God.”

I WILL LIFT UP MY CUP by Akwasi O. Ofori
“Accordingly, Christ’s work accomplished two main purposes in our lives. First, it opened our eyes and in the process turned us from darkness to light. Second, His death rescued us from the control of Satan while at the same time restoring us to fellowship with God.”

I WILL LIFT UP MY CUP by Akwasi O. Ofori
“The death of Christ on the cross offered much significance to believers. First and foremost it portrayed how a just person was made to suffer unfairly for the sins of the unjust in order that He might bring them to God.
The believer’s new state is symbolic of being put to death in the flesh and made alive by the Spirit. Christ’s work entailed that He bore the sins of the human race in its entirety through His crucifixion. Such a benevolent act surely should require a response from the beneficiaries: the human race.
The crux of the work of Christ on the cross was its enabling factor. His death enabled sinful humanity to obtain direct access to the throne of grace.”

“Most successful people are positive. They do not look to recollect mistakes; do not allow their mistakes to haunt them; and do not get distressed by their imperfections. They have a positive outlook on life so they often tend to see people in an optimistic light.”
Akwasi O. Ofori, Embrace the Challenge: Turn the Negatives into Positives in Your Life

“Restitution is recommended particularly for believers. As followers of Christ, we are a close-knit fraternity. We are not expected to hold grudges amongst ourselves. Rather, we must always maintain cordial relationships.
This is only possible if we each work to ensure that nothing becomes an obstacle in our relations. Nevertheless, sometimes, our relationships can be breached. This is where restitution comes in. Good relationships are maintained when an offender acknowledges their wrongs and makes amends.”
Akwasi O. Ofori, Wonderfully Made: What the Bible Says about the Human Race

“As humans, our fates intertwine and cross paths in several ways. With very few exceptions, we all toil in sweat and tears. Many succumb to the travails of this life, fall along the road, and get left behind. Others, however, get up, persist, and reap in comfort and laughter.”
Akwasi O. Ofori, Embrace the Challenge: Turn the Negatives into Positives in Your Life

“Wait no more. Make it a swansong. Embrace the Challenge. Say goodbye to failure, disappointment and underachievement, and welcome accomplishment and success. Seize opportunities in life as if clinging on to a timeless treasure”
Akwasi O. Ofori, Embrace the Challenge: Turn the Negatives into Positives in Your Life

“Another guideline is that you should not leave your friends and associates speechless for uncontrollable behavior such as sudden outbursts or sudden change of attitude. Remember, when you throw temper tantrums, you lower the premium others put on you.”

“Success covers a movement from one station in life to another and usually involves work, determination, and belief. If you can make it in life, you will not only need to believe in your talents and worth but also have staying power and the ability to work hard.”

“Thus, the hallmark of Superstars is a focused and determined work ethic, the willingness to take leaps of faith, and the ability to hold on when the signs are not good and everybody is telling them to quit.
All achievers have certain characteristics. They do not crumble in the face of adversity. They view problems as stepping stones instead of as stumbling blocks.”
